Thanks for the input guys. Yes the pound to the dollar is in a pretty crappy place but the 320 Boxer is still coming in about £16,000 to the UK. How does this price compare to competitors? Also the old Boxer company has a design for an wheeled artic loader so I'm hoping they also bring that back. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Yes Dean we are Morbarks industrial dealer. We have also been given the rights to sell the Arb products since the show. The technicalities of signing the dealer agreement hasn't been done yet and if they decided to use another company I wouldn't hold it against them. The most important thing is to get a strong UK presence for Morbark like they have in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, and Canada. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

We are planning on taking these in to the UK. What are peoples thoughts on this? We still need to CE Mark them but that won't take us too long. Is it something people would use?

Sorry Global. I don't mean to rain on the parade. Yes they have PTO chippers too although they don't advertise. If you post you email or number I can get in touch with details. Yes roseyweb. Morbark also makes a PTO chipper if you are interested. I can look for a second hand one in the states or we can supply a new one. Regards Davie Harper

That's not totally true. There are machines these days that can separate almost all kinds of contaminants. We have installed a recycling line that separates, stones, plastic, wood, brass and aluminium. You can really re-use almost every product but until you are roughly collecting about 5 tonnes per hour it's not worth while. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Just for the guys looking at the M8D, you'll just need to bare in mine that the spec on the Morbark machines are for the non CE machines. Fair chance length and weight will be slightly different. Engine and capability will be the same though. Most likely the European versions will be slightly more compact and have a more UK style wheel base. That's all. Yes it is a 25 hp engine but the heavier machine is the M8D. It's the way to go.

We could supply you the X7 chipper which is £17,000. Just as heavy but just that 1" smaller chip capacity. The throat is still 10" wide so as long as it's not high it will take it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

Hi Tom. The Morbark M8D is heavier built but the price may reflect that. Basic 8" machine comes in at £26,000 delivered. I had a man visit me at the Morbark stand and told me he was still using his 1975 8" chipper.
