1. Recently needed a big saw but waiting for the new 395 replacement to be released so tried one of these farmertec 660 clone saws as it was cheap so far so good has anyone tried one
2. In the states they high stump a lot don’t know why just do inch at the bottom is a foot at the top but hey ho but if your on steep ground and can get round the other side for what ever reason there handy I have them on my bigger saws but anything 50cc I’m there isn’t much point you’ll ruin the balance I think. 70 and 90cc yeah got for it if that’s what you want. Also if your a tree faller it saves time rather than walking round the other side of a tree
3. I was working at a job the other week doing some hedge laying and the neighbour opposite had a tree that had come down per way and had a large limb hang up in the crown. I said does he need help and he said his friends coming with his chainsaw anyway roll on a few hours and mate shows up no Ppe and a cheapo saw from b and q he then throw the chain off and gives up and goes home. I then speauk to the owner again and he says he’s got another friend with a chainsaw coming this one well he ended up dropping it in the road and took the fence out . How do people get away doing this? If a car was going past he could’ve killed someone it really annoys me.
4. Not a bad saw for real thick hedges you may need more poke husky 435 550xp or on of the smaller echos are good
5. Well there's are Morris onse there not bad for a new tool will require work to get right though
6. See if that link works if not YouTube hedgeing 1942 Hard work but that pint of mild would taste mighty sweet come the end of the day
7.
Do you have a photo of your pig skin mitts you use for Hedgeing? Can't seem to find a pair anywhere did you get them from a leather worker or from a store. 30+ years ago things were still made to last sadly it's not quite the case now.

8. Eye but there no good when using a billhook as if you do miss and catch your hand which may very well happen you stand a better chance of being unhurt when warring a stout old style leather mitt
9. I've used the welding gloves for a good while there not the best by any means and there are those razor wire onse out there but what you really want and especially if your using a billhook is some of the old leather onse that were mittens with no fingers ive contacted so many people but my best guess is they were home made at least the very thick onse you see about were although some were made by leather workers or someone in that field in the rural area like a saddle maker perhaps I'll try and attach an image or two to give a better idea. Would happily buy a pint to anyone who has any info on them or someone who'd make one cheers.
