  1. Hi guys Just throwing this ad out there as I need it gone. Open to reasonable offers. The truck is on arb trader
  2. It's a boxer 532dx and a alpha 200 shear I'm looking at
  3. How well do they work on multi stemmed stuff like dog rose?
  4. Yeah can get right next it
  5. I've been asked to do loads of hedge removal, a big job! Most of it is hawthorn under 4 inches and laurel under 6. The specs on my machine are 14.9gpm 3000psi and 32hp. Would my machine run a shear ok ? Weight is not an issue due to the hedges being pretty small but I'm wondering if it will have the ommph to run it? Any advice welcome Thanks in advanced
  6. This is a true but a sherpa or worky-quad will still rip out 6ft hedges or whatever
  7. Another thing you can't do with the knock about grab is grab upright stems. Cut a hedge at the bottom rip it out, easy
  8. Can I just add I absolutely love my mini skid, and you 100% will not regret your decision. I also love talking about them on arbtalk ahaha. How sad is that!
  9. I've got a klou grab, forks, bucket, and flail. The grab is on 90% of the time. One thing to bear in mind with the klou grab is that it only spins 270° making feeding a chipper a little bit harder. I would say that is its only disadvantage against a knock about grab mick is describing. This is on a 32hp boxer so a little bit bigger than what machine your looking at. Next purchase is going to be a rake for me, they look so handy
  10. Hi Can you explain how an engine can be more efficient but use more fuel? I was under the impression an engine being more efficient ment it used less fuel? Thanks
  11. Log grab over grapple bucket any day of the week especially the klou style ones. So much more versatile
  12. Do you guys reckon there's scope for just a bloke subbing himself out with one of these machines? Cheers
  13. Nice one cheers guys
  14. Anyone know where I can pick up a set of tracks up for one of these, I know about Steel Viper but hoping I can get some aftermarkets somewhere?
  15. Agreed any loader is better than none, **** lifting logs.
  16. Fair one, panel out would defo be a game changer and bring it closer to your price. Well round my way anyway not sure about London!
  17. You reckon only a day?Especially with the grind? It's hard to say without seeing access but chances are it's gunna be bad. I haven't used one of the turn table pedestrian grinders but they can't be much better than a normal one. Looks like it's at least gunna be a 36inch bar at the very bottom? Getting it down, shifting all that wood then grinding out a huge stump with one of those grinders is gunna be a big ask?
  18. Oh and you'd have to do it with a pedestrian grinder and all. Sounds like a can of worms
  19. Looks s***, high chance its full of metal, crap access, 2 grand with grind and vat included doesn't sound to bad especially in London. Trunk looks massive lower down?
  20. There's my answer then ill get some new ones ordered
  21. Whats the tension of the springs supposed to be like on the 19 28? I can currently lift the roller with one arm, I'm assuming its supposed to be more than this? Cheers
  22. Used one of these for my boxer mate got my fabricator to make a bracket up for it, but I think the guy will do one for ya if you get measurements. New compact tractor loader Bucket, 3ft/ 4ft and 5ft widths available WWW.EBAY.CO.UK 120litres for 4ft widths. 150litres for 5ft widths. 4ft buckets at...
  23. OK will give Ga groundcare a go Cheers guys
  24. Hi Come to flip the shear bars on my 19-28 tow along and have noticed the vertical has cracked. Anyone know where I can pick one up from this week if possible? I've seen orangeplant have quadtrak ones in, that look very similar but not sure if there the same? Thanks Matt
