  1. how much do people up north like north west liverpool, manchester, north wales, charge per cube i just need to get a average price as not to under cut people stupidly
  2. PS Ian i can take 50 ton it means a lot of traveling but i am use to that give us a ring if you would 07732629346 wayne
  3. hi Ian at a guess how many ton have you and how old is the wood can it be processed this coming season wayne
  4. well this is why on my flyer i guarantee the logs to be between 20-25% moisture content and if they are not i will replace them of refund the money back to the customer i do my job right and i have never had 1 complaint. The question on bag size is a good point you make when is a bag of logs a bag of logs if you fill the bags to the top their is a high risk of logs spilling out onto the road and if a motor cyclist hit it at reasonable speed say 50 MPH he is liable to be killed and the log supplier charged with involuntary manslaughter and i do not think that a builders bag is the best choice for log use. I myself use the wheelie bag which has a lid and helps with this issue also their is a bag which holds 2 cube which ties at the top and is perfect for transport the only issue is its double the weight which makes it more difficult to handle so the ideal bag would be a builders 1 cube bag with a tieable lid and bulk bag manufacturers need to get on board with this but until they do i will be using my wheelie bags which a returned back to me when i redeliver the next order to them. The question on bulk orders via a delivery company dropping them off i am not their quiet yet but if you want to give me a ring on 07732629346 i will be bulk delivering starting from next season and 4 cube means 4 cube and that is what you will get and between 20-25% moisture content guaranteed.
  5. you cannot beat log customer loyalty, all customers want is good quality firewood 20% moister content and if you can continue to producing good logs they will stay with you simple as what happens after brexit concerns me.
  6. teamonsta can you not rent a bit of a field of a farmer i have a piece of land of a farmer its 100 meters long and 20 ft across their is an access road next to it for the water board to allow 24 hr access so the farmer cannot do anything with it he only charges me a £10 a week but that puts 500 a year in his pocket and a bottle of whiskey at Christmas look around you might cop lucky and get yourself a decent patch somewhere. good luck
  7. If you put them in a container mate you might as well put a gallon of petrol on them and a match the only way you can store logs in a container is if you have access every day and are able to open the doors and allow a good airflow through them for long periods of time.
