1. Unfortunately a prerequisite for the windblown ticket is CS30/CS31 & CS32.
2. Parking tickets/fines etc can be made the drivers responsibility, however maintenance & service might be a different story, it could be looked at like PEWR regs, it will be owned by you, provided by you, if the driver neglects to get it serviced/maintained and has/causes an accident, god forbid causes a fatality, YOU could be had for corporate manslaughter. We have a small fleet, we make the driver sign a weekly time sheet that states he has checked the oil level, tyres and lighting, they also sign a document to say they will not use the vehicle for private milage and we have tracker on them, that way they will not be taxed, if they want to use the vehicle to go to the chippy or local tip let's say, they seek permission first, the ruling is "occasionall use" otherwise they are liable for taxation. With regards to policy, you can write a simple list of your requirements and conditions and the driver signs to accept them (in duplicate) and provide him with a dated copy. Hope this helps.
3. Looks good, I'm applying for membership of the wee Chipper club next weekend when I collect one of these!
4. That's funny that, I've just changed from a 3 year old D-Max to a 7 year old Hi-Lux and people think I'm doing better? Love the Hi-Lux over the Isuzu though. Smart casual me!
5. Had it on my work PC last week, the first time I ever looked at arbtalk at work!! Using Google chrome! Just rebooted PC.
6. Interesting guys thanks for the responses!
7. I used to go through phones every few months, had this a year now. Regularly covered in wet saw dust, mud, rain etc. The amount of times it's had a bad enough drop would have cost 3 iPhone screens.

https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.catphones.com/en-gb/phones/b15q-smartphone&ved=0ahUKEwiVy5j6js_RAhVKCywKHYtsDJsQFggbMAA&usg=AFQjCNFR28faYQXZHxtkacYTOoSqxv30rg&sig2=3Y47_Bkt70mbGyLK6pTu0Q How much! £500? Little too expensive for a work phone for me mate.
8. Does anyone use a mobile they consider indestructible? I am looking for a phone that will stand up to the daily abuse they can sometimes receive in our industry, especially when climbing or dragging timber?
9. Anybody know anything about Fisher climbing spikes? Aluminium or steel? And leather straps or Velcro? Looks like they have sold hundreds of the steel version but not so many of the aluminium ones. I found them on eBay and am leaning towards the aluminium with Velcro pads at £125. Will be my first pair and not used very often. Any info on them would be really appreciated. Thanks Gordon.
10. No I ordered black type A's?
11. Just ordered a pair of Arbourtec breathflex, not too sure how good they are but hoping they are cooler than the Oregon ones as they made me sweat like mad!
12. My dealer told me to only us Husqvarna XP oil in my 550xp! I use super unleaded simply because it has no ethanol in it (if you get the right fuel brand) just don't leave fuel in the saw for too long if your use is low! Sent from my SM-G920F using Arbtalk mobile app
13. Just got one this week so will see what happens!
