  1. I have a burning area out the way.. get shut a couple of times a yr.. a smaller burn pile for odds and sods from my garden round.. usually shit pensioners can't get shut of.. do em a favour see.. Tree work crap gets put on the big pile...
  2. Me pricing every job high... you must be joking.. I was quoting bucking billy were he suggests people give a little extra to their customers and they will do that extra bit if they've priced the job right.. IE not priced at the bottom.. and in consequence refuse to do that extra if asked.. If you must know, its about time I put my prices up.. I charge too low for the most part.. I don't mind doin the extra myself on account of I just don't mind.. I see it as part and parcel of my service.. by extra I mean an extra twenty minutes on a job or take some crap away to dispose of..
  3. Pointless flying all the way to watch, best off getting involved and get your own thrashing like the rest of em.. ?
  4. If nothing else you make for a good read.. I like that.. you should post more, gets a bit tiring reading troll replies...
  5. consider it free entertainment through the day.. or evening.. happy to keep you occupied..
  6. No Chainsaw.. its been lowered in the past but spread onto the pavement and taking up space in the garden.. looked a mess as they do if left to themselves.. anyway I can't see that it matters much as my point was about shoddy work attitudes.. for the most part the lads have done a good job.. though the tenant thinks they could of done better.. I'd of just cut em all down and started again.. there comes a point when tree's or hedges outgrow their surroundings..
  7. You could always find others threads to read through, get involved with. not bother reading..
  8. Yea, its gift... being opinionated comes in handy on a forum..
  9. And you do?.... all you do is troll me for the most part.. have you nothin better to do than follow me on here?...
  10. If I had to respond to all an sundry slagging me off I'd have no time to get to work, never mind get any work done... Thick retard numpty, yes and even bell end the other day.. I find some insults offensive but thick isn't one of em.. why even princess diana didn't mind being called thick as two small planks.. it was almost said as a term of endearment if I didn't know any better..
  11. are you being serious?... gettin fired up over callin someone thick.. I could see your point if I called someone a thief or pedo.. but thick!!!.. you got to be kidding?..
  12. I'll put you on my list of people to visit if I go to the arb show... you can tell me all about bein a clown in person...
  13. my bad back is only apparent after tree work for some reason.... as to a meetup, perhaps one day I'll come down to one of those arb shows one or two on here I'd like show some respect to myself.... My utube watching list has been very interesting over the last few days.. a slew of vids on the indo europeans... and a few about the early roots of christianity.. giving myself a deserved holiday from stressing about brexit see.....
  14. Can't think what it is, trapped nerve comes into play every time I do tree work.. or pulling at things... can't figure it... lift a heavy mower in an out the van all day, no problem....
  15. I can cope with doing it myself, its my back that can't.. no fun walking round like a cripple for three days after faffing in a tree or cuttin down a hedge......
  16. What your not getting through your thick scull is the owner paid for the reduction on account of the tenant wanted it done.. IE the landlord for all intents and purposes was just the middle man paying out the bills.. the tenant told the owner what she wanted doin, the owner arranged for it to be done.. The tree cutters thought like a lot of idiots on here and couldn't work out the job was being done for the tenant with the blessing of the owner.. if she wanted them to do all the hedge, and not leave some off, she'd of told em to leave some of it alone.. I don't know why, perhaps because she's as thick as some tree surgeons.... Only a moron could look at the whole and figure it mean't part only...
  17. Not sure what to make of that.. I mean its obvious you'd of done the decent thing and done a proper job.. and yet the need to stick the knife in on account of the job was a hedge.. Not to mention tree surgeons do do hedges, I've seen enough of em round abouts cutting back hedges round here.. or do you mean snobby tree surgeons don't do hedges?...
  18. and if they give a report of your chances of success but leave a paragraph of reasoning out they've robbed you of time as well as a proper job...
  19. pointing out shoddy work and attitudes is trolling now is it?....
  20. err yea, because Eggs was sticking his oar in.. he's a drain expert is he not.. works in shit so he says..
  21. Obviously I don't when it comes to drain work, but I have an opinion on scam artist ripping people off.. and plumbers seem to up there with the best of em... I'll just go and get that missing part for the boiler miss's.. mans drives round corner opens flask then sits idle by as he watches clock to put an extra half on the job... beating with a heavy wooden club?.. I'd chop their balls off..
  22. I wasn't pointing fingers as much as saying tree sureons aren't the only scam artists about..
  23. If you go to a solicitor you expect them to do a good job.. not finish a report with a paragraph missing..
  24. Very funny....
  25. It is a conifer hedge, with a couple of small trees in amoungst.. should the landlord have written down she wanted to reduce the hedge and by the way include the two tree's in with the hedge.. or you think she would of said reduce the hedge meaning all of it not part of it?.. and why I'm at it, seen enough TV footage of cowbows ripping people off by tellin em they need a camera down the drain to scam some extra money to know that trade is worse than any for scamming people..
