  1. Hi All, I have a Bay tree that I wish to remove from my back garden. Access is through a gate at the side of the house. I am attaching some photos as a guide. We are based in West Acton (W3 area of London). If there is anyone that wishes to quote on its removal, please get in contact. Thanks John
  2. Hi, try tudor environmental in Canley a try. I have used them on my 261.
  3. Hi Adrian, i tried to pm you, but I think your mailbox is full. What do you have available and what is the cost?
  4. I know that this may seem a strange thing to do, but I would find out the name and email address of their CEO (it will be on their website), and send a message to him / her if you get no joy from any of the conventional approaches to fix the saw. You just need to provide as much info as possible (serial number, date of purchase, location of purchase etc etc). I would mention how disappointed you are in the quality of the product, and leave it to them to come back with options to rectify the issue. Good Luck
  5. Thank you both for your help. I will not bother with the effort of cutting and splitting in that case.
  6. Hi guys, I have come across this tree and I an not sure what type of tree it is or where it is any good for firewood. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks
  7. We have an ECOFAN 812, and it has eliminated the cold spots that were in the room prior to having a fan. The room temperature is now more consistent.
  8. I had a similar problem with my honda trimmer. I spent ages looking for the problem, in the end I took it to a Honda dealership. It turned out to be the clearance on the valves were out and needed adjusting. I have also changed the fuel that I use. I now use premium unleaded on all small engines that I own. I am not sure if this will help, but I just want to give it every chance to stay running.
  9. If your business expands into the warwickshire / Kenilworth area, please let me know. I will be happy to take whatever hardwood you have.
  10. You need to inform Network Rail before you commence with this. You will almost certainly need PTS to undertake the work. If any branches / limbs come down on the track, the result could cause a derailment. The result of this is just not worth it.
  11. Hi Alycidon This post was more in hope rather than expectation. Thank you for the tip on the moisture meter. I will start having a look to see if I can find a good one now. Thanks again
  12. Hi fellow arbtalk forum folk, This is only my second thread, so I am still learning, so apologies if this goes to the wrong forum. I am not an "arb" person, but just a regular person trying to save a few quid on heating bills for my family. I live just outside Kenilworth in a place called Burton Green. If there is anyone with unwanted hardwood, I would be happy to take them off your hands. My intension is to use them for my own use. I am more than happy to cut and split the wood as I find it an excellent way of keeping trim and the wait off! Or if you have any ideas on where I could source the wood please let me know. Thank you in advance
  13. Hi, This is my first post, but I thought that I could contribute to the discussion. I would recommend that you try adding your details onto a site called Freeindex My wife makes cakes (wedding cakes, etc) in her spare time and we get a lot of calls via this site. We are at a stage where we are turning work away. The good thing is that you don't need to have a website. You enter your details and locations covered. It is based on a rating system. The more customer feedback you have the better. Once this has been set up I would send an email to those that you have done work for and get them to write a short review. The more recommendation you have more confidence new clients will have in your company and hopefully the more business you will get. Good luck.
