    Home brew!

Just made up the next home brew for this years big family camping session down at the farm. Woodfored's "Norfolk nog" this time, along with the elderflower champagne and plumb and blackberry wine... Anyone else into a bit of home brewing?
  3. Anyone had any issues vacing after hedge trimming, got stiga blower vac that has been great for picking up privet trimmings but I was wondering if thicker stuff was to much for it? Any thoughts or experience much appreciated, Cheers Jon.
  4. Land cruiser all the way, my old man has one, has done 270k from new, with no more than wear n tear stuff like break pads etc, Bloody rock solid and comfortable on a long trip too! Drove to La Rochelle and back in it, no complaints.

    Tapatalk?

Alright chaps, Sorry if this one has been done before but, when I log in on my phone Tapatalk always suggests that I sign in through them, but I can't find Arbtalk on their search? So is Arbtalk available on Tapatalk or not? Cheers chaps!
  8. Another vote for Halfords - pro... Im not a mechanic but my lamping truck is forever requiring work so they get a bit of use, and have done me really well. Snap on are great, but the price is just too much for the occasional user.
  9. Viewing houses today, BBQ then out with the rifle tomorrow and carrying on with a sweet chestnut job Monday.
  10. Cheers spud thats great! Its the 72cc magnum version just found out that the saw has good compression and plenty of power, recently had clutch drum and drive sprocket all OEM, still has original cylinder. but definitely had a fair bit of use. Not sure what to think now really? What would you suggest is the best equivalent (modern) saw that will run a 20" bar easily and handle hard use 3-4 days a week?
  11. Alright chaps, been looking for a decent used saw to be used 3-4 days a week on a sweet chestnut coppicing job, as I'm on a budget. Friend of a friend offered me a fairly battered looking 038 18" bar for £250ish Says it runs sweet, and pulls well. Never used one, but iv heard they are bomb proof.. any advice would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  12. I really rate the Stihl Foreswear Hiflex. mine have lasted ages, though admittedly i am not cutting 6 days a week.
