  4. Hi, There's a western red cedar within a group which has suddenly and literally within a month completely died? Other two trees are of good health. Any idea why was thinking potentially Seridium canker on the main stem below the branch break as foilage has died from the top down with a few low branches with a tiny bit of life left.

  10. Hi found this on a split eucalyptus today and idea whether this is part of the fungus causing the rot and split? Lots of white blobs all up the stem and looks pretty decayed? Or is it just the old bark peeling away?

  15. Hey, saw a few claret ash the otherday which had disrupted bark up to a height of about 3M. Attached a few photos of one of the trees (A few of them were worse off but forgot to grab pics). Didn't look like vandalism more like a canker. Some had been fully occluded and other parts the bark was just cracked. Thanks
  16. Hi guys just wandered what might of caused these growths I was thinking the second two pictures could be cross sectional flattening or fibre buckling except the tree had a small canopy so not sure. The first oak had patches of bark losses could this be due to bark necrosis due to the lean of the stem? Cheers again.
