  1. If 8 potato boxes stacked up really floats your boat pm me your email address and I'll send you the pic of empty boxes stacked 8 high I'll even put 9 on one stack if you want me to

    I wanna see 9 high.

    Post the picture on here.

I cant be the only one who wants this?

  2. Thanks for the replies, it sounds to me that if I come across a dirt cheap one at a farm sale it might be worth it as any digger is better than a spade but if I have to pay eBay type overinflated prices I'll be disappointed.

    Thanks, William.

    What kinda money you talking?

I might know of one sitting, mint condition 2 digging buckets and a ditcher

  3. The Two Piece Boom is fantastic in this work, allowing me to tuck in and under without doing damage to the surrounding trees.

This place has been tight at times, and combined with the offset boom it's surprising just where you can get.

How's the Neuson? I think they are about to really take off in the UK, having now established themselves firmly at Stafford with a new HQ, plus a few more dealers about. They look quality kit, not short of metal with plenty of auxiliary pipework available for attachments.

I'll try to get a few images of the finish possible with the FAE, the client here wanted to reseed an area, so I simply spent a little extra time on it, then waited for a reasonable frost to track it in with the Kubota.

He was made up, as there's nothing to do to it but put seed on it now!

I like the Doosan, it should be a great setup when finished. I hear that the Seppi is very popular up north, who's the dealer?

    Eddie.

I really like my Neuson, got it back in 2008, and she's never missed a beat.

Quite thirsty, in my opinion, if shes running full revs all day loading the chipper.

Fast though, plenty power and great oil flow.

  4. Today i had a meeting with till hill with CPL they are paying £68 per tonne standing, not delivered in (i let you work the maths out) this will make people think about firewood soon it will be cheaper to turn the gas on..!!

i have been in firewood industry for 25 years back them i was buy in at £25 per cord "good old days"

I brought 2500 tons hardwood for next year i paid £62 delivered In and 1500 tonnes softwood (over sized) at £55 per tonne delivered.

i read that some firewood merchants are selling it for £80 1cm3 if they are they are only making less that £10 profit after processing costs. (pending on the costings of they firewood) in the South of England

i sell 0.7cm3 £90 1.cm2 £115. i have an Excel costings sheet if any one like a copy so you know your costings.

    thanks

    Iam confused?

Surely every merchant has different costs, depending on location, set up yadda yadda?

How can you claim to have my costing's?

You know nothing of me, or my business, or am I missing something?
