  1. We have a 14 year old double cab transit with MOT for sale. It's very tatty but been reliable, just used as a site truck these last few years 133k miles done must be worht around 400 quid as a doer up.
  2. The leachate from the chip contains a mixture of chemicals, some are attractive to bugs in the soil and as these digest them the soil is robbed of oxygen, this lack of soil oxygen is what can kill roots and yes there is an old nursery in Redhill that was used to store chip and the mature conifer screen around it is now dead and gone.
  3. Try http://www.freeworker.de/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/ART_LockJack_Info_2014_EN.pdf
  4. Our ones' operator's manual from Fletcher Stewart says Tibre 46 which I gues is an ISO 46 hydraulic oil.
  5. We paid £439 cw charger. The lead acid batterries do need to be kept on charge and not left to discharge on shift or they fail prematurely.
  6. Thanks for the link, re sleeving may be an option. Yes it's light hydraulic oil that's used and the seals do get damaged by DOT4 brake fluid. It may well be that a previous owner has damaged the seals this way. Still not found a seal kit yet, even the spanish manufactureres refer me back to JCB.
  7. You could keep an eye out on salvage auctions for a slightly bent one:thumbup1:
  8. Our JCB master cylinder with servo has developed a leak, new part from JCB £600. Does anyone offer a refurbishment service for them?
  9. Just to bump this one up, I had a small amount of interest and a member has picked up two six wheeler loads as a trial, it has made a small dent in the heap so any other takers out there?
  10. We have an ongoing supply of logs in the form they come of arb jobs at our site near Crawley. These are a resource that is less than optimal for use as a raw material for firewood compared with roundwood in fixed lengths but has potential for an enterprising person to turn into a profitable business. We can offer this material for processing out of our yard as a concession by negotiation, and can provide a secure area behind Heras fencing with some assistance in sorting the material or we can load 30 m3 roro bins which hold about 15 tonnes of these logs green for onward transport at the buyer's cost, again subject to negotiation. Any interested persons PM please and note a proper risk assesment will be needed as well as proof of competence if undertaking work in the yard
