Coffee table in green oak.

The idea is to remove the brake and mod a stub to fit in place off the metal plate,then as above conected to a hose.

Aspen I have ruled out on cost and no one stocks it near to me.

Last Saturday milled a large oak 20 litres used in the day.

Thinking of extending the exhaust on the 3120 to get the fumes away from me when milling,your thoughts on this.

Am I right in saying you will get 12 quarter saw boards doing planking.centre four on each stem ?

Kit is everything,But the main one is you not enough of the right food in you,and you end up on the deck. It really tests the body.

I have seen this on a model helicopter this had a tapered set of shoes,pushing the top of the clutch out.it looks identical to these photos.

I am no expert but it looks as if you need a complete new clutch as the springs and pads are very worn,allowing excessive expansion of the clutch?

It's almost certainly an evergreen I thought Scots pine but I am learning.

This is a stem that's about to be felled about 20 ft to first branch and 50 feet in total the remaining 30 to 40 ft been removed as the stem looks to be about 2 ft dia at the top.

I dumped it in the end to much in it.the pebbles and sand in the hollow at about 9 ft up caused the mill to rise up off the first cut ,

You can just see it in the picture.

I came home with a very worn chain and a broken sprocket :-(

John which chain make do you prefer for milling ?

You need a vertically mill to cut the beams.then cut them off the log with the mill . securing the bottom off the plank to avoid it slidding off as happened to me.use plenty of wedges.
