  1. Any one got a TP 200 mobile on here? And what's your thoughts on it ? Any problems to be aware of?
  2. HI There, Looking to purchase a unimog, and am after solid facts on the law with using them so that i know what I'm getting my self into. so really those that have them can you advise me please. So I Know if: Its classed as Agri: then there is no tax and can be run on red, with just insurance to pay each year and maintenance. Its classed as commercial: then its on an O license and you need a hgv and have to pay tax and insurance and inspections etc. Im looking to buy one to run attachments like ( hedge cutter, Post knocker, Log splitter, Hiab, roller and flail) your usual tractor work. but also by getting it means i could look at getting a timber trailer and cart wood chip and logs to the yard on the bigger jobs ... If i have it make it work sort of thing. Now how does this sit with the law. I know on agri tax your not meant to be using it for " haulage" like commercial as pulling low loader trailers every day to deliver hire plant and delivering goods using it for what you should use a hiab lorry for. But as i don't intend to use it for anything other than moving timber or woodchip of my jobs to my yard etc wouldn't this be like pulling the hay back from the field? and what is the distance limit on agri from the registered place of where its kept? Any advice is great. But please make sure its 99% fact haha as i don't want this threat full of ... ( my mate said) or ( i think you can) ...
  3. 6. Truth be told with the service iv experienced the cracking isn't as much of a worry now I know they will do their up most to resolve the issue. What worried me was the downtime with out a machine but by the looks of things they won't let a customer with a genuine issue go with out
  7. oh right the lorry ?? na its a mitsubishi canter
  8. the engine ?? don't know, i guess it would be a kubota engine ?
  9. The only issue now is I want one 😂
  10. 230 Vtr they have lent us wile they sort the issues with mine out
  11. UPDATE!!!! So I got s call back from my dealer on Monday and also a call from one of the top guys st timberwolf and all has been sorted 😃😃😃. As I started this topic it wasn't to slate any brands!! It was to see if others were having similar issues with their machines!! And turns out it doesn't look that way I iv been unlucky 🙈. But today they collected my machine and in return have lent us this super truly awesome but if kit.... Which now makes me wanna buy one haha 😃. So bottom line is thank you to everyone help on here and the service of them has been 👍🏻 A grade 😃
  12. haha its funny to hear what you lot think, as on saturday when finding another crack i flipped and sent an email to my local saying i wanted a full refund on the machine and to able to rethink my decision. or replacement machine. but this is why i wanted to see others experience and thoughts
  13. Thats only a handful of cracked my phone is filled with pictures. but pointless me keep uploading them ... think those alone should do the job to show people my issue I'm having, wouldn't say its vibrating anymore than any other chipper out there. just seems ike the metal isn't think enough to withstand the vibrations, keep in mind that its is less than a year old and only 152 hours on the clock so has had very very little use.
  14. does any one know of anywhere i can get a 40 yard bin for green waste at a decent price, down in sussex ? to fill it with just wood chip !! no logs just chip !! or do stobart do anything ? thing is we need one or more during a whole week as we cant make a mess as its in a field and can't tip the chip on the grass. kps and others charge by the ton, but didn't know if someone does fixed price as it would make our life easier knowing whats to be spent than guessing tonnage
  15. hi guys and girls, not a slagging off match or this machine brand is better than that one ... this is just a thread to find out peoples experience, In Jan i bought a brand new TW230 and in the time iv had it iv had a lot of issues with it, mostly cracking issues and a noise issue with the rollers. just wanna see how other people are getting on or if it is just me and iv got a friday machine. mine has done 152hours what has other peoples done ?? Iv had Top flywheel casing crack ( first claim to be paint now needs welding) rear door cracked in two places, (been changed under warranty) hopped cracked roller cover cracked ( replaced and now cracked again) the cover that you remove to change blades is cracked Rollers wine and make a loud noise engine mounts replaced flywheel paddles replaced Is this normal? I'm currently in discussion with my dealer ( who are being awesome and doing their best) but i wanna see other people side of things with their machines. Cheers
  16. picked up my new car and some guy crashed into me in a landy on a country road, so insurance gave me a great wall as a loan car till mine was fixed. in the week i had it it broke down twice. got stuck in a grass field and the second time the guy came from the AA to fix it he said "oh, we don't have those adaptors for the laptops thats a chinese edu system" sure enough it got picked up on a recovery truck and i got a ford ranger dropped to me the next morning. so in a nut shell..... STAY AWAY FROM THEM!! if you are going to buy a truck make sure you buy something worth your time, if you stick with ford, isuzu, mitsubishi, vw, toyota .... main brands you might pay a touch on the higher side but at least when it goes wrong it can be fixed and not just glued back together.
  17. hi, so thinking about making that jump to buy a mini skid steer as It would be ideal for a lot of my work and around the yard. its between the vermeer or the boxer. both looks great and have their pros and cons, the boxer I'm looking at the 500 series as its got retractable tracks and the vermeer well haven't looked to much into them. but what do others think who have either of them and what would you recommend ?? cheers appreciate the advice.
