  1. Evening All, I guess its a general question but is there a good/better MC for Oak before its put in a kiln, ie, what MC should I reach air drying before kilning ? Thanks, Al.
  2. More mundane ?! I'd rather be doing that than must residential arb work. Horses for courses I suppose.
  3. Rooks ain't protected, they are on the general license. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/568045/gl05-birds-phs-licence.PDF
  4. That's a fair point Rob. In the end I went with a product from Ronseal designed for outdoor hardwood furniture as it covered all the bases. Turn out good.
  5. Does anyone have any advice on a good finishing product/oil for Maple that will be outside. Thanks Al.
  6. Thanks for the advice. I was thinking along the same lines. Maybe it's time to buy a bigger saw....
  7. What's the largest Lo-Pro bar a 441 could run ? Thanks, Al.
  8. What's worse, using a top handle on the ground with both hands or using a ground saw one handed above the head for a cheeky little crown lift......
  9. You have to remember that fitness is a generic term. It's about being adapted to what your trying to do. For example a professional cyclist is fit, but would not be 'fit' if he competed in worlds strongest man, and visa versa. So you may not be fit when it comes to doing Insanity workouts but climbing trees you are. It's all about what your adapted/conditioned to.
  10. I bought some parts from Multiplant Ltd a while back. Very helpful and quick delivery.
  11. That's horseshit. There's a Waitrose near me that has a car park (and is signed as parking for Waitrose) however it's a council car park. I was only in there 5 mins, most expensive pint of milk ever !
