  1. how is having children a lifestyle choice !!!! yer if i drunk beer or took drugs that is a lifestyle choice and for your information i had not anticipated been the place i am now i had a stable job for the last six years and then got made redundant so decided rather than been a dole claiming low life i would actually do something for myself rather than putting everyone else first so i managed to get through the training and i have poured every spare penny i have to get where i am now so that i can do my job keep a roof over my head and food in my kids belly's i would not change anything in my life or the so called lifestyle choices i have made so if you do not have anything constructive to say then please keep it to yourself
  2. hang on one min i was not after a free helmet i dont mind paying a amount and i dont mind paying postage so please dont start taking the piss thank you a i am doing is trying to start out and feed my family at the same time as well as been safe !!!

  6. hi just done my small and my large trees nptc now do 203 380mm and below and they do 301 with is over 380mm both separate courses both 3 day learning 1 day ass hope this helps you it might be diff if you are refreshing cheers phil

  9. ye sign on for a 4-8 week period then start asking about funding for education to become more employable just tell them that your skills are out of date and need to be refreshed and update in order for you to gain employment they want to get you off their books asap so i you tell them you need re training in order to do that then they will do owt to get you what you want good look need any more help then pm me and ill try n help you out

  11. there is funding mate keep at them they funded all mine i did 30 31 32 and climbing thru job center if not look into 24+ advance loan hope this helps you

  15. toppiing at ground lvl would be ideal but not his cup of tea lol
  16. he has not spoke about the sides been trimmed might be difficult to do as well as they are very bushy and i can do his side but not sure how his neigbours would react done some work for him before and all i can say is they are not friendly or nice people

  18. ye basic but from what i can tell i has never been maintained or looked after just been planted in one long line and left to it he now wants the hight reducing dramatic i have seen topping done before by some one who did not know what they where doing and over the years has killed them off
  19. i have had a friend that has 35 conifers that are 20-25 foot tall that he wants me to top out now from what i have read it should not be done are there any other methods i can suggest to him to reduce the hight or just do what he has asked and top them by 6 foot cheers in advance phil

  21. hi all hope you had a good Christmas i am hoping someone will be able to help me out and put some work and experience my way im from Wakefield west Yorkshire i have full UK drivers licence that's clean tickets gained with NPTC assessment are as follows 201 chainsaw maintenance 202 cross-cutting timber 203 fell and process up-to 380mm 301 fell and process over 380 mm 2007 access tree using rope and harness 2106 airel rescue lantra awards in use of a wood chipper brush-cutter if anyone has work available then i would be very grateful im 25 years old and have 4 children so have a very sensible head on i have had 2 weeks with a local tree surgeon so i have a rough idea of how things work if you can help me out i would really appreciate it hope you all have a good new year kind regards Phil
