    If you go to your local garden centre they may have wooden crates that they have plants delivered in. Turn them on their side, put some ply on as a roof and felt. Sent from my iPad using Arbtalk mobile app

    Not sure if you remember Chris but you did a job for me on Sandy Lane. 3 ash tress into the water board. Great job, you were even great at fencing when the third Ash went a little off course. Glad you are well.

    I normally work on a day rate on smaller projects. It's easier to work out, cost of turf plus labour for the whole job. Day rate includes rotivator.

    Can you use a systemic pesticide? The aphid sucks the sap which is contaminated by the pesticide. Good bye aphid.

    It's £18 per tonne in the local council run recycling facility in Newcastle. Might be worth contacting your local authority to see if they have similar.

    I found one on my arm once. Screamed like a girl!

    Even under cover it will deteriorate and start to rot. Especially after 3 years.

    I had a similar issue on a birch I felled and stacked. The mould appeared early in the process but after about 6 months it disappeared. Burned fine too.

    Once they have seasoned the issue will resolve itself.
