  1. The stiffy (patent not even bothered with) a stiff 'other leg' tether for advancing an ascender... Cos I find foot loops and hand ascenders tedious ! Enjoy Instagram.com/timberwolf190 for vid
  2. Hi.. It's listed as lifting 400kg at full reach (4.2m) unverified on mine though.
  3. No.. It was a little pinched but easily pulled out :-)
  4. More of agt835 ;-) Instagram.com/timberwolf190
  5. Antonio Carraro Ergit TTR 6400 Agromehanika AGT835 (yellow) Negrisolo 4.2 crane Low impact forestry style :-) Instagram.com/timberwolf190
  6. Good shout enrieb... Glad I watched that... I hadn't realised that grocery carts may also blow over in London England and Paris France. Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to .."STAY INDOORS". ;-)
  7. Windy out there now.. (Dorset) Windows are rattling like a scene from 'Paranormal Witness'.! Stay safe people.. and don't be a hero!(well maybe a cautious one is ok)
  8. Agreed... The point is the more efficient you are with a good team and better kit .. the more jobs you can get to, to make it all pay. The job is more or less the same money, but with allowances for estimating how long it will take and dare I say possibly be cheaper than your competition because your company is so awesome .. Could be a day with a machine you own or 3 days for a company without it. ! And that mr/mrs customer is why I can't give you a price over the phone !! Lol
  9. I would be cautious about adding a charge for your machinery.. It should be your working advantage and therefore make the job easier. For example ., dragging and chipping into van and you charge extra for the chipper, customer says don't bring it (to make it cheaper) you end up stacking it and chopping it on the van. ... It's how you are going to profit by having superior gear and finishing a job quicker than the competition. Not, I've got expensive kit that I'm going to add on top of the man/unit rate.
  10. It's going to happen even on a new digger. Just watch how you manoeuvre and listen to the tracks as you go.. I've managed to reverse a popped track back on cos I caught it in time. Most always peels off the idler end on mine so if I have to do a tight turn I drop the arm lift that end up and slew. But yeh check tension etc etc too.
  11. Here's the other vid. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oa1SAkP0wx0 Makes a change to see non 'rednecks' (youtube description) having problems.
  12. Spotted this vid and didn't see it here with a quick forum search. There's also another rigging failure vid with a 5 ton section.. A little ambitious !
  13. Trouble is that all the local crims come out too cos they know the travellers will probably take the blame. And does that mean the key I still got for that gate won't work, I was going to set up a camp site up at the MD. :-)
  14. Agreed 'Treequip'...Elder and Buddleia too. But maybe before the sites were initially developed someone had the foresight to retain some of the mature trees. All I'm saying is its a shame to wade in and level the place, when you might be able to incorporate specimen trees into the design plan. Thats what the basis of this thread is anyhow. If its all rubbish or totally in the wrong place to retain... I've got a digger with a grab for the job ;-)
  15. I'm not quite sure why you ask as you seem perfectly aware of the guidance and legislation relating to trees. Felling licence definitely worth checking (obv). Other than that its a bloody shame that your in with the sort of developer who strips the site of all arboricultural antiquity ... to thrust their version of beauty at the bewildered locals.! Were the trees planted as a crop or for amenity.? Decide whether, as an Arb, you are the abattoir type or the Vet type ... Tree Care ? Or Tree No Care ! (Did I use too many exclamation marks?!!!)
  16. Here's one I put on Instagram, in the hope that some 'other side of the world' type would post a considered answer. Regrettably so far nothing I'm happy with. Just for the heads up, and I make no apologies for sounding arrogant, if it were a tree that we've all heard of... I would know it (and spell it in Latin)!! I know it's tricky from a pic'y.. but have a go if you are happy with all the key ident features (not just one)😁🎓 Tree is a slow grower and currently 20ft high or so... Leaves as big as your open hand. Fluffy white seed clusters seemingly from catkins. Heavily veined leaf and not exactly poplar shape ! :-) Thanks ...
  17. More control with fixed rotator, doesn't swing about. And you can still push the thing into the ground to lift the machine up for a spin around etc without worrying about pipes and damaging the pendulum one... That said, if its just for a bit of yard work, then any old grab will do.
  18. Fixed 360 rotator and open toe grab on my Takeuchi tb145 ... There are cheaper ways to go about it though !! Bought through Exac 1
  19. Yes seller name changed.. Same feedback/rating people on the account. Here are some of the pics I was sent.
  20. Agreed Chris, but I know plenty of eBay listings without numbers.. Cos you get irritating calls from people asking time wasting questions and trying to get a buy it now price. The correspondence I had and the check on sellers ratings was plausible enough... So I'd rather bid than not be quite sure if genuine. I would never give a deposit and refuse to use PayPal. Cos I don't trust the system. Justified I reckon. 😌
