    I've got a 260 for some reason today the chain tightened up to the bar and stalled the engine,I adjusted the chain tension but as soon as I started it and the chain turned it automatically tightened again! I played for ages trying to find the problem but all I could come to was that there didn't seem to be a lot or at all oil getting to chain,all holes seemed free to the bar. Any suggestions?

    Yes mate I had a good year in there,I split 100 loads and every single one has sold already,never thought my first year would go so well. So now I'm sat with customers wanting more with nothing seasoned.....****!!

    I've got mine down to 13% too! As it's kept out side under tilts some has gained the odd % but still way under 20. Some of it was cut as late as August too!

    Chaps I've got a rather large heap of sycamore and ash mixed all split and ready for this season.......but the sycamore is starting to grow mould and cover bits of the ash too! What is it? Why is it doing it? Does it matter? And how do I stop it? Thanks a lot for any help

    Right ok well I have still got the option to sell in volume so what measurements do I need to get that sort off volume? What length would I need to cut the sections?

    22 tonne wagon and I have felled about three tonne so far!

    Well the chap has got a 22 tonne lorry coming and I've sold it to him at a tonne price! But if I can get a measurement in volume to equal 22 tonne that would do the job.

    I've probably got way over 100 tonnes to get out of 1 of my 20 odd woods! So I need to start selling as cord you see.

    I am thinking of selling 22 tonne of cord to a local buyer,but its the first time I've sold it this way! Can anyone advise me on how I have reached the 22tonne as I don't have a weigh bridge to hand! Also would really appreciate a pic of some loads of roughly this amount to try and grasp how much I need! Thanks alot
