  1. iv not long replaced mine they are XPA1632 you can get them from most belt places
  2. Hi all, I have a predator 360 that runs fine until I tilt it to grind and it starts smoking out of the exhaust, being black smoke I assumed it was overfuelling and it doesn't like to tick over either but it does smell similar to oil burning, is it new engine time or a simple fix? iv changed the air filter and its still the same. any advice is more than welcome! thanks.
  3. sorry to bump an old thread but currently I hire a fsi b20 which is a great machine but (A) its awkward and heavy to get on the back of the truck (B) its almost overkill on some jobs and (C) its way out of my price range. not looking at 6 ft beech stumps but small to medium stuff, what's the verdict on the current version of these? yay or nay
  4. Good evening all, we currently have 2-3 days a week available for a self employed grounds person, all our work is private/non contract so no hi-vis or cscs card required. Pay dependent on qualifications and experience, If your interested please call or text us on 07840169298 Thanks, Anthony
  5. Iv got a regatta pack away jacket, cost 15 quid off eBay, I thought I'd tear it to shreds in a day, it's still got no holes 12 months on, cheap enough to buy two and change over half way through the day
  6. In those cases where I think something could split out like storm damage I get some large slings and wrap them tightly around the piece below the cut and connect with a Mallon. In the unlikely event that will snap I tie my lanyard around the piece and connect that back to itself and connect yourself to that with a prussic loop or a break-away sling, this seems the safest way if you "need" to put yourself in that situation. Weak links on a harness would cause too much hassle and although I believe in natural selection, the HSE don't 😂
  7. Saw this on a Facebook group a while back, the bloke posted it saying that he was lucky to be writing the post and how things can go wrong in an instant, he got some flak about it and rightly so although I should hope he's learnt a lesson with a slap in the face like that 😳
  8. Il try this next time the mrs asks me to vac the sawdust trail iv left through the house haha
  9. The customer that won't listen/ doesn't understand. Example: can you reduce this leylandii by 80% and make it look natural? or reduce by half and keep the nice pointy top? I use saws not magic wands 😐 Educating customers is the answer but some have no common sense at all and there's no fixing stupid
  10. Saw a burger van with "only foods and sauces" on the side and a marquee hire called "2 in tents" haha
  11. Exactly, I'm always checking for new vids on my smack break, has me in stitches every time
  12. Try searching the o-rig system on here, it takes the termination knot well away from the hitch and also makes the system adjustable, hope it helps
  13. You know everyone has "fixed" a slab like his videos too haha It's just a bit of banter really, I mean if we can't have a laugh about our jobs what can we do?
  14. There's two 13 year old lads round by me that have trailers on their pedal bikes, on Saturdays their out with the mower in one and the strimmer, hedgecutter & rakes in the other, on Sundays their out washing cars, in the winter their out clearing gutters, in between all of this they even deliver shopping and clean the oldies houses where they can't reach, they will put their hand to anything, they will do anything for a few quid and I have massive respect for them also very envious too! Take all the advice you've been given and work something out, take all criticism as constructive criticism instead of biting back and good luck! Remember nobody said life was easy!
