  1. Wouldn't Polyporus be on a stalk? Or is there one and I can't see it from here!
  2. Standard practice would be firstly to employ a consultant who would inspect the trees as a group and write a report, his report would contain recommendations for any remedial work. The "tree surgeon" would then be employed to carry out the work to the consultants recommendation. Following this procedure will ensure you have acted as a "reasonable and prudent landowner" which you are required by UK law. Graham

  5. the dacay looks exactly like a beech we felled recently it had kretzch
  6. ive cut sycamores and left a 2 foot stump and they grew again, imposible to kill them tree must have been dying before you cut it, kretzch, armilaria?

  9. We use stihl semi sinthetic the green one and mix @ 40:1, got a fs450 clearing saw theys had its brains revved out for the last 5 years and stil a strong machine with good compreshion! Same mix goes in huskys and stihl with no trouble Had mate with brand new ms660 ran on stihl RED standard oil and siezed up so I dont use it. any modern sinthetic or semi 2sroke oils will all perform the same Grao
