  1. I've got an st6 and mine is doing the same as yours, have you managed to find anything out yet, all I've done is take the stop button of, clean it put it back, fixed it for about ten minutes, now the no stress is messing about. It's been messing about for a while, but it's got progressively worse. Probably will have to ring there workshop to get some advice, as it's beyond me.
  2. What's the point of having this lockdown, if people are just going to work anyway, it just won't work, look at the scary footage from Italy, the more we say, I'm just going to do this or do that, more Will follow suit. The government have got to be clearer.
  3. So do I, but my arb 150 done 1300 hrs, and needs a few bits done on it, and my local 3rd party dealer who I have to get the parts through, are useless, they have got previous orders wrong charged me twice for the same order and took about 5 week's to get them, when they arrived, some bits were wrong, that's why I tried something different.
  4. Global redwood, Andover, they showed me round both factory's, if you're looking for a a second hand chipper, they got a good selection, and they couldn't have been more helpful, after sales parts, sound's good too
  5. I just bought a second hand reworked one just before Xmas, with 500 hrs on it, looks like new, and the price was really good, it ment I could by it out right, with out finance, going to keep my GM arb 150 as a back up,
  6. Yeah, keep looking on YouTube to see if anyone put any vids up of it. As of yet nothing, might have to get a demo on it, do like the look of the new st6d as the hopper is bigger than the older one
  7. Does anyone know how they compare? Both similar weight, horse power. Apart from the greenmech own video haven't heard anyone elses comments.
  8. We had a demo on the st8 last week, awesome machine. It took 3 of us to put a large lump of conifers in, and it took it with out snedding it up. I was convinced it would not go through, it's a great bit of kit.
  9. I had a hip replacement about 4 years ago, I was climbing the day before I went in, back to work in 7 weeks and climbing again in 10 weeks. Still get pain in it from time to time If I over do it , and sometimes when on rough ground. But I'm pleased the way it's turned out. Up until recently I use to climb ever day , but got a younger guy working with me now so we share the climbing.
  10. I will be coming up from Kent, with the two lads who work with me. Think we're gonna camp , it will be our first arb show, looking forward to it now. Hoping to get some new bits to.
  11. 200t run the nuts off them for 2. Years without hardly any maintenance, a saw to rely on.
  12. I've been a stihl fan for over 20 years. But bought a 540 a few months ago and on raw power the 540 has it. I also have a201 but now prefer the 540t
