  1. Congratulations to you both! You must be the perfect outfit now!! Although a little fiesta van in matching bang tidy colours as a company vehicle for Paul would just but the icing on the cake!! :-) Sent via postman pat
  2. I can't believe for such a large engined machine how fast it picks up after it does its no stress thing! It really is a smart machine! I see why an arbor trolley is required! Sent via postman pat
  3. My mate owns a garage he does a load of work for a local taxi firm, he services a skoda superb with over 300k on it, I think that cars are better when they have high miles, Low mileage cars get problems just as easy as high milers! Sent via postman pat
  4. Vw passat, the older 1.9tdi 130bhp model think it was 2000-2005. Great cars my dad has one, Y reg its never let him down. Sent via postman pat
  5. Our tree officer is quite strict with what he allows people to do, however he is realistic! Years ago we crown lifted a row of chestnuts as the customer complained that the bin wagon kept catching them and breaking bits off! We did the work and then got a call from the tree officer, he said he was happy with the work done and would not take it any further, however if you had started crown reducing etc he would have been. The council if nothing else should be contacting them and giving the company a talking to. Sent via postman pat

  19. Sorry I know it's hard to see pic properly but the stem is on the other side of the wall it leans over the wall into the lane so no felling. Sent via postman pat
  20. Christ if that's a few hours work am in the wrong trade!!! Surly though, a job is a job if you are fast, efficient and productive and you can do it in 2 hours or a morning your at benefit as you can charge the price in relation to tree size and situation etc? I worked in a vw dealer as a mechanic, we had to work to 120% efficiency therefor if vw said a service takes 2 hours and I did it in 1 they still charge the customer for 2. You may have a 3 or 4 man team therefor you will get it done in no time but then you got more wages to pay!! Sent via postman pat
