My Dolmar 5000 has arrived. Bought it private in Germany as the chap has upgraded to a 6100. Everything looks clean, piston etc. Cut some hardwood with it lunchtime, everything fine. Popped cover off to look at plug colour, had to smile as the smell reminded me of Alpine forests. The pine oil smell was really strong. You could tell what it was mainly cutting. Paulm

My little Chinese TH Saw has paid for itself. Once I had set it up and have now got used to how it works, really worth the £70 I paid for it.

Something is wrong here, where in 2014 Stihl Catalogue a 261 is £690 and @ FRJ £508!

Anyone got a used Carving Bar they dont want to fit a stihl ms192? I want to have a play, but £90 is a bit steep for a new one:001_rolleyes: Cheers Paul PS:Before anyone asks, I do have 1/4" sprocket.

The saw seems to be working fine. When it warms up it is fine. Torque is not great but what do you expect from 25cc. It just makes my life easier Plus I cannot think that a large German company would sell non approved goods. TUV is quite strict in Germany. The same as FR Jones would not sell something that is dangerous. It is not a Stihl or Husqvarna that is supposed to work 8h a day, but a useful tool for occasional use.
