1. We are a busy Arb Approved Tree Surgery and consultancy business working in the commercial and domestic sectors. Our regular clients include housing developers, pub & restaurant chains and schools in addition to our repeat and one-off domestic customers. We are currently looking to expand our teams to cope with our current workload and are seeking an experienced and qualified climbing arborist. If you are a Climber with appropriate NPTC Chainsaw certificates (ground and aerial) we would like to hear from you. We are looking for someone who is genuinely enthusiastic about working with trees, who takes pride in their work and relishes the challenge of a varied work load. Experience and qualifications are essential for this role, but equally as important is the right attitude, we are looking for a climber who wants to learn and progress to Team Leader and beyond. We are happy to invest in our staff to help them achieve goals, you will be provided with work uniform and all necessary PPE, work tools and ongoing training and development. It would be very beneficial if you also hold a CSCS card as a great deal of our work is on building sites, however, this can be arranged. We will also carry out a DBS check for our work at schools and care homes. Must also be able to drive, up to 3.5t and tow a trailer as a minimum (pending rule change accepted) We also have 7.5t & 18t lorries, tractor, excavators, etc so HGV or any operators licences would also be beneficial but not essential. We are looking for a full-time employee but may consider part-time for the right candidate(s) or work on a labour-only sub-contract basis if preferred. Salary negotiable depending on experience, we are a Real Living Wage Employer. Wolverhampton Tree Service Ltd - www.wolvestrees.co.uk Email: [email protected] or call 01902 892652 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £26,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
2. Been searching around for the same, tried eworks manager for a while but didn't quite fit the bill. coming to the conclusion that there is no ideal solution!
3. Hi Phil We are looking for someone at Wolverhampton Tree Service if you'd like to give us a call - 01902 892652 speak to either Keith or Dan.
4. One of our lads has had a minor mishap and is on light duties for a couple of weeks - Any courses running next week (wc 26 March) - he is a climber with all his tickets, so maybe something else to add to the repertoire - LOLER inspection would be great if there happens to be one running.
5. Looking for recommendations to get our climbing and rigging kits LOLER'd - preferably local to Wolverhampton and can visit our site. We used to do this in house but as staff have left so have the qualified LOLER guys. Looking at 6 climbing kits and 2 lowering.
6. That would be great, its woodchip we're looking to get rid of. Can you give me a call when you get chance - 01902 892652 or send me your number.
7. Have a team working for the next 2 weeks in Napton on the Hill (nr Southam) and could do with a tip site for Woodchip, if anyone know f anywhere, thanks.
8. Sorted for Chip and possibly logs, unless there is somewhere closer to Tenterden that will have the wood?
9.

Sorry I didn't call, for some reason I never got alerted to your reply. If you still need to dump logs or chip then we have plenty of space and good access. Full postcode is TN21 0QL, number 07595024752. Due to the crappy roads in East Sussex it might be a bit far from Tenterden but if you're down this way again then bear us in mind!

10. Brilliant - thanks for that, they'll take it.
11. That would be rally useful, could you give me a call - 01902 892652, Thanks
12. Have a team working in Tenterden for the next 2 days felling 3 Macrocarpa's and could do with a localish tip site for chip and/or wood. Thanks
13. Think of it more as a "cutting through roots" blade than a grinding blade and they work well - 48 stumps though - you may be there a while, and your back will be sore!!!
14. Microsoft Picture manager will do batch re-sizing. It's what I use, just change the view to Thumbnail view which will show all the pictures in the same folder, select the ones to resize then carry on as normal, just exit the program and hit yes to save all... Simples.
15. Thanks guys - always good to get a second opinion. The tree is TPO'd and staying put, this has just been unearthed after the homeowner cleared a load of ivy and vegetation from the area and was understandably a little concerned. Given that the tree is around 70ft tall and located less than 20 from his house. Ooh, on second thoughts, better fell it then - for safety's sake!!!:001_rolleyes:
