  1. Check out keela Munro jacket and trousers. Excellent quality, well sized and we'll priced. If you get onto them direct as a business you can buy at trade price. They also have a very reasonably priced repair service if they get damaged. I believe you get exactly what you pay for with waterproofs. You want a membrane rather than a coating as coating suffer with abrasions so youll get wee damp patches on areas of high wear. Cut and climb jacket is also excellent.
  2. Just a wee tip. If it's your first harness and you not real sure about the kit, it's best to go to a descent arb kit dealer and try them out. Sorry if I'm pointing out the obvious but I hear of too many people just order a harness online and regret it. Recommendations are good but everyone's a different shape. Oh and to stay on topic defo new harness.
  3. I'm using a 084av on a 46 for milling. wasn't realy by choice ,just what I had at the time of giving it a try. Can't realy see past it now. Just bought another for 250quid. Keep an eye on eBay I'm sure there's a couple on there at the moment.
  4. Ifor Williams here, just replaced a 14x6,6 and in 3 years only lost £350 on it. Bought it new and granted it was in very good nick but still very pleased. My advice would be to go Ifor Williams. Won't have anything else.
  5. It's an ex hire machine from a company I deal with fairly regularly. It has quite a comprehensive maintenance record. They are after 4800+vat. Thanks for all the advice, I'm going to try and get someone to check it out as I don't know enough to make an informed decision.
  6. I have been looking into getting my 1st chipper and looking for a little advice. I have been offered a 2006 TW150 with 1300hours on it, works well and seams to be mechanically sound though is a little tatty looking in places. It's had new flywheel bearing and blades and a service. What should I be looking out for? Should I be concerned with the hours and what would you expect to pay for it ?
