  1. You’re viewing it through a rose coloured prism of your own infliction. You, or anybody, can be ‘anti’ what ever they fancy, but the assumed ‘weight’ of your ‘anti ness’ does not have a direct relationship to any other person’s antipathy towards your current cause célèbre. World would be a better place if everyone focussed more on what matters to them, whether that be assumed guilt / privilege or whatever, rather than presuming to project their own yoke onto others that don’t give a toss and then getting outraged BECAUSE others don’t give a toss.
  2. You’ll find sympathy beteeen ‘shit’ & ‘syphilis’ in the Oxford English Dictionary ???er. I just had a quick check, I’m fresh out, none on back-order and none due in anytime soon. ??‍?
  3. It’s utter bollox! Its like “I can be be outraged and offended by anything that tickles my personal sensitivities but I’ll melt down if anyone: (a) holds a different view (b) doesn’t agree with me or (c) dares to express an alternative or opposing opinion. Go get €cked! I don’t care and the sycophantic dripping genitals that have assumed offence on behalf of others can drown in their salty tears for all I care.
  4. Interesting that you direct your focus at the 'source' rather than the content Mark. I'll happily buy and read Socialist Worker - not because I believe in it or support it but because there might be something I want to know about in it. If it is an accurate report of facts, so be it, doesn't matter so much who presents the facts as what the facts are. The 'point' I was making was that with the UK Labour partly balls deep in an Equality & Human Rights Commission investigation into anti-semitism (and widely acknowledged pro-Palestinian rhetoric) it must weight heavy on the bleeding hearts to learn that such 'inhuman' behaviour is actively supported by the organisations that garner such overt sympathy from the UK Left of politics. Strikes me as an obvious contradiction.
  5. An interesting paradox for those with a Lefty leaning in UK politics and an anti Israel sentiment: Palestinians: The 'Un-Islamic' Family Protection Law WWW.GATESTONEINSTITUTE.ORG "I understand the head of the clan, who does not want sovereignty other than the rule of the male, but what do...
  6. Helluva piece of kit, but you can’t put it on a trailer and tow it behind a HILUX.
  7. Unusually, I read to the end of the thread before jumping in! I can’t believe nobody has done it yet? DER, DER, DA, DUM...... DER, DER, DA, DUM.....
  8. That’s ZZ Top finished as well..... Oh, wait a minute....
  9. That's a beauty! I'll be interested to follow that.
  10. Seriously..... '...We are reviewing its historical context and our role in educating fans to make informed decisions...' Educating fans? I think someone seriously needs to take their head outta their ass and get a grip! England rugby fans could be BANNED from singing 'Swing Low, Sweet Chariot' | Daily Mail Online WWW.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK The iconic song that supporters belt out at Twickenham and across the world at away games may be axed as the RFU... You'll like this one Mr S! @Stubby
  11. I couldn’t agree more Matt. They tax you on what you earn, they tax you on what you spend and they tax you on anything you leave behind when you go in the ground. Just makes me want to earn less, spend less and leave nothing ?
  12. I’m genuinely astounded by the number of domestic customers that feel morally obliged to pay the VAT as their contribution to the overall tax take. The price for the job is the price for the job - we’re all at liberty to set our prices as we see fit according to our assessment of the relevant factors. I’ll price as appropriate and explain that VAT on top is not part of my pricing structure it’s a government tariff. Genuinely surprised how often potential domestic customers don’t see VAT as part of the price and so it doesn’t result in a perception of being uncompetitive.
  13. Erm...... Everyone that wouldn't vote for the only alternative.....?
  14. That's a relief.... Thought I'd started on the cider a bit early ?
  15. Plus, as has been said many times before, your operating costs will be reduced by the element of VAT that you currently pay and DON'T reclaim which you will continue to pay but then reclaim. That gives you an element of flexibility to 'trim' prices for selected existing clients if (and only if) they press for negotiation on prices AND you want to retain them on the client list. Much better to have the ability to do more trade AND reclaim VAT rather than fret over keeping business down so as not to inadvertently break through the VAT threshold. Just an opinion - others may differ!
  16. Haven’t! I have got the elasticated waistband Homer Simpson pants ready for when the local hotel opens its ‘eat all you can help yer self’ buffet breakfast though. It’s a 2-2 1:2 hr gorging session - slow but steady wins the day!
  17. Black Lies Matter - what you WON’T see on the BBC. Anyone wanna comment - see if you can watch it and challenge the CONTENT rather than the presenter - you know who you are ? Black Lies Matter - Tommy Wont Be In London! WWW.TR.NEWS Marxists, Anarchists and their affiliates have joined the BLM movement to create a race war. Black Lies Matter -...
  18. All of the above (ref China) AND a total disregard for the health & well being of a totally ‘disposable’ and never ending supply of workforce. On the pasty issue, I actually woke myself up this morning dreaming of a big fat fry up.... Times is getting hard with this bloody (so called) “lockdown.” Apparently, I could freely go about my business in a baying mob, toppling works of art, heritage assets and historical figures free from the fear of interference from plod enforcing the latest addendum to the ‘rules’ of what I can and can’t do..... .... but I can’t go and get mesel’ and gut busting fry up.... ?
  19. Camborne is a bit of a shit-hole, not necessarily in the same respect as China though....
  20. There's the Wiki definition: Grove (nature) - Wikipedia EN.WIKIPEDIA.ORG Reasonable, at least I thought so. There's the Treeterms definition: grove - definitions of arboricultural terms WWW.TREETERMS.CO.UK A group of trees, including fruit trees, of pleasant or ornamental character. Not so fulsome I thought.... Any other offers?
  21. What was the outcome of the course then Twigger? If you're still tuned in....?
