  1. On a tree of that dimension quite a bit of money , 2 running feet amounts to a few cubic feet, you cant sell the bit thats left stood up though .
  2. Ha , Thats made me smile Brownoak, .. i am old school aswell and would be embarrassed to leave a stump like that never mind the monetary value. I know its easy for photos to be deceptive but "not that high"? if thats a four foot diameter log compare the stump to the butt?? Johnny ... kind of saves rounding em up anyway if you cut above the toes hey? Some of us on here do make our living felling timber like that and its what we have done for many years and take pride in what we do just i am sure most of all the other members do. Photos get posted of poor "topping" etc. that attract constructive criticism .. i say that lightly, why then shouldnt photos of poor felling attract the same kind of remarks?
  3. Had mine operated on a number of years back, .... over 2 years off in total. It seems it is easily misdiagnosed... mine was initially diagnosed as frozen shoulder when in fact i had 2 severed tendons. If it persists in my experience you must push and push for scans etc. as using it can cause far worse damage.
