We are based in Appleby Magna, Derbyshire with a second depot in Alvechurch, Worcestershire. Our work is mainly for Western Power Distribution in and around the Coventry and Warwick areas. We are looking to expand our existing teams by offering positions for experienced and qualified arborists. Applicants must be self motivated and hard working. Desirable Qualifications, NPTC Units Cs 30, 31, 38, 39, 40, UA1, UA2.1, UA2.2 and UA2.3. Chipper and Mewp tickets would also be an advantage. A valid first aid certificate is required for all positions. Candidates are also required to hold a full UK driving licence. Positive mental attitude always helps me along when the onset of disco leg arrives. I take a minute to collect my thoughts and then picture in my head exactly how the next step is going to take place. Imagine a little video clip of you rigging the limb etc, your face cut, the perfect back cut, you picture the limb folding down and breaking away. The lowering line becomes taught and the limb gets slowly lowered down. Picture the big grin on your face. Now you know how your going to do it and have pictured it going to plan, crack on ;-)
