  1. Does anyone know where i could get hold of a set? I have a set of protector pro boots and thought for forestry work it would be brilliant to have walking over logs! I have tried the place i bought my boots from but they say they cant get hold of them. Also not sure about fitment of them, whats the best way of doing it without wrecking the sole of the boot? Heres a pic of them on a diff Haix boot if anyone hasn't seen them before: Thanks David

  3. Yes, i understand. Its my own time and body and i wouldnt want to encourage anyone else to try it, its just something i like doing and someone shouldn't be "stupid" enough to copy someone. As the saying goes, you wouldn't jump off a bridge if someone told you to.

  5. Yea i only went as far as i was happy with. Double checked each branch before using it. Was mainly standing on something the whole time so not swinging around.

  8. Found this little beauty on a university trip yesterday. Anyone else seen it? Also the huge Douglas fir up there are stunning!
  9. Good for small scale, but gets expensive with larger sites. Personally i think i brashed small woodland is beautiful.
  10. I have only ever had two orders with them, PPE and tools. But both came next day delivery as standard. Can't complain but dont know what they are like with returns.

  12. The one with the forwarder and harvester is somewhere in Scotland when i went on a uni trip. What is a FS machine? The larch is on the whinlatter pass before you get to Whinlatter forest car park. First time seeing winching before.
