  2. We tryed a few ways with our splitter ... the outcome is we buy in now .. and spend more time logging if you have lots of time on your hands fine ..but we found buy in make a small mark up and sell logs more beneficial .

  15. Can anyone near to Chester supply either softwood split logs in bulk or dry cord ? Running low already and this could be a regular repeat order . Softwood pref . Got to be dry will consider hardwood if no softwood .. 07764942934 Steve thanks
  16. I'm after a supplier of log stores to sell on ... as a side line .... mostly to fit in a bulk bag of logs in mayb a few bigger ones . Any ideas where I can get a regular supply at the right money ??? I'm in Cheshire near frodsham Thanks in advance Steve
  17. Are u usein the right size bar ??? Could it be hitting the housing of the oil tank ?? ?? I'm sure you can adjust the travel of the bar if it's hitting the tank somewhere . I down loaded the operatIng manual . or is your wood really dirty ie soil sand etc that will quickly blunt a chain or nails in the wood etc .. not tryin to teach grandma to suck eggs but . Clean wood makes a big difference in my opinion .. also when offering the bar to the log take it easy ie don't hit the wood (snatching) as this won't do the bar and chain any good either . Can't think of much else ... hope that's of some help .
  18. There is a spring also that I just moved up that cured mine .
  19. You would find a moisture meter a useful matey . We only sell wood under 20 % moisture content ..they are not too expensive .. erm stab in the dark guessing a cube meter ... there abouts .. hard to say ...
