  13. Cheers lads, going to have a trial of a few cords and even try a few different knots, distel look really neat on Ce lanyard so try it, also Knut It's refreshing trying some new, many people still use Prusik, nothing wrong with that of course but sometimes change is a good as a rest Transition has been quite difficult, especially accending, just different techniques and methods are employed, I'm hoping to take on an apprentice and think it apt to be able to advise on different styles, or he can probably show me Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  21. I billet Arb waste, yes get some strange shapes, I just stack and cover, then use saw bench with conveyor into tipper. But means when I get orders, I have get tractor out etc, set-up sawbench, position tipper underneath, i know that's not really a big deal, just think there is a more efficient way of doing Arb waste I'm considering using the packfix by posch, looks ideal for stacking and drying, not taking deposits on bags which is off putting to some, selling a larger quantity, ie 1.6cm3 rather than 1cm3 bags, to replace netting, about £80 plus vat and gets you 60 x 1.6cm bundles, only problems then is getting them on and off trailer/van Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  22. I use vertical for rounds, for logs of a metre We billet, I may have vertical Woodline wl16 for sale, that has wide long knife and will split anything pm if interested Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
