  1. The piles you see that look rung up are just that, the whole pile is rung up, there are no lengths hiding in the stack. Not really certain on a price for the whole lot, viewing of the pile is welcome, we can discuss.
  2. There is no Poplar in the pile, it is 99.9% decent hardwood, there is a very small pile of willow that is not included (just caught on pics) unless some one wanted it for free. Along the barn wall is all 1-1.5m lengths all stacked to about 1m high, there is a'lot that is already rung up to about 12" (cant quite see it from the pic) Right in the middle is a load of split. Im sure my farming friend would help load up with his tele!
  3. Still for sale! Can deliver local for a small charge by the transit load or collect from yard! Here are some pics of the pile, at the back of the pile under the tarps is another shed load of cord all stacked in the same fashion as the Silver Birch. All hardwood, a large amount has already been crosscut to approx 12 inch rings. Broken wheelbarrow and ladder section not included! PM if interested! Peter Hall http://www.greentreeworks.co.uk
  4. Had a job this month, 5 large Leylandii with terrible access, everything chipped and away, allowed 3 days for 3 men - £1800. Didn't get the job. Came across 2 guys working out of a newly built chip box made of G clamps and ply on the back of a trailer pulled by a disco. I watched with interest as they proceeded to take 14 days to complete the job and left a mess, I also hear they brought in 2 extra men towards the end. Then found out they charged....£800 What a waste of a job. Not prepared to compete with that. Pete Hall Green Tree Works

Any ideas / offers? can post some pics of the pile, all hardwood - Elm / Oak / Ash / Sycamore / Beech / some Chestnut / Fruit (mostly apple) etc Cheers Pete Hall Green Tree Works http://www.greentreeworks.co.uk
  6. It's worth considering joining the Federation Of Small Business (fsb) as they will help you and fight your corner if the tax man comes sniffing about your last 7 years worth of books! They are only about £100 for the year and offer a large amount of services and advice (including legal). Peter Hall Green Tree Works
