Pity really as I can not see the customer wanting to pay for the extra cost of running all the saws on Aspen. I can see whats good about it but the cost is just too much 8( Peter Hall Green Tree Works

  11. The question is, whats it worth to some one?
  12. Access is really good, I don't think the client would want it milled on site tho, it's mainly to get it out and minimise the clean up, if it was worth something other than fire wood then I could allow for that in the price. Cheers Pete Hall Green Tree Works
  13. Hi gang Looking at a job and will need to extract a large Redwood. The trunk is straight with a slight lean and approx 30m (estimate) to the top. What would the trunk of something like this be worth from the roadside? What lengths would it need to be cut too to get the most out of it? I can supply some pics if needs be. 14. Green Tree Works job opportunity in and around the Suffolk / Sudbury area and bordering Essex and Cambridgeshire. Climber / Groundsman / Trainee Groundsman required on a self employed basis as and when needed but should average 2-3 days a week, possibly more during busy periods. The Climbing position will require the applicant to have their own PPE, NPTC CS30 / 31 / 38 / 39 as a minimum, you will be competent with both dismantling and high quality tree reduction completed to BS3998, applicants with "climbers ego" need not apply. The groundsman position is for a tree surgery groundsman, this involves assisting with the ground working operations within a small team, supporting a climber with roping operations and general dragging, chipping and site clearance, NPTC qualifications CS30 and wood chipper would be most advantageous but not essential as training can be provided and assessment arranged for the right applicant. An excellent work ethic and attitude is essential as well as being able to work as a team. Ideally we are searching for someone aged 25+ (younger applicants will also be considered) with a full clean driving license, who is capable of driving a 3.5ton vehicle and is comfortable towing a 750kg wood chipper (you do not need the b+e entitlement on your licence) Wages are dependent on experience and qualifications. If this is something you feel you are interested in and are looking for a challenge then please PM or contact us via the contact details on our website http://www.greentreeworks.co.uk Thank you.
