    Thanks for the advice guys. I'm looking at buying from here: Husqvarna 346XP chainsaw (50.1cc) | F R Jones and Son Is this the silverside one? I don't think I'll be needing heated handles but maybe I'm wrong.

    Hello, I'm about to buy my first chainsaw for cutting up firewood. I've done a little research on google and this forum and the 346xp seems like a good choice. Which bar length/chain should i go for and does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy? I'll be felling small trees, cutting rounds and old pallets etc up in Perth, Scotland.
