  2. That's a great first kuksa, they do evolve as you make them which is part of the fun :-) Glad that you enjoyed it :-)
  3. Axe or draw knife for the tenon + Brace and bit + a knife to enlarge the hole... Not as chunky but...
  4. I guess that makes sense as I have seen a lot of pole lathed bowls.
  5. Looks good, it will smooth with use ir you could sand it, try starting with 200grit and work up to 500 grit

  9. Hiya Birch is a traditional choice for spoons, cups etc. Did you finish yours with oil?

  11. I sometimes finish with abranet which does the same job as sandpaper. See Bens video (5th down) for an excellent sharpening tutorial
  12. Hiya I tend to axe out a large rough spoon or bowl shape and then refine the shape with knives until I am happy.
