It's not aftermarket, my 1999 entec has one. My memory might be quite wrong but I think I spoke to a timberwolf guy once who told me that the two speed unit was replaced with what is now standard whenever a machine came in to have the stop bar upgraded to comply with new regulations. Something like that anyway... I think it's a great asset; switch to slow for anything dead and hard or particularly big to keep the vibrations down. Hello. I've got a 99 enter dbh35 chippit. Recently had the cooling system apart to gain access to a bearing, flushed radiator and new fluid, but I don't know if that has any bearing on my new problem as the machine has filled a good few trucks with chip since, and I'm sure I would have noticed if it had been pissing out pink bubbles each time... anyway, coming out of my overflow hose on the rad I have coolant, and with the cap removed lovely pink bubbles everywhere. The coolant is the normal browny green and the level hasn't changed visibly, although I stopped work when I first noticed the puddle. The machine was working unusually hard (I didn't want to deal with loads of conifer cordwood) but I don't feel it was particularly hot when we noticed the leak. Took it to a friendly garage where I twice tested for exhaust fumes in the radiator. The first time I did get a slight color change, but the second one time no color change. It occurs to me now that the first time I may have been dumb enough to give the pippet a couple of test squeezes while standing in front of the chipper exhaust... The rad cap seems in functional order, ie clean and moves on the spring.. I have yet to try flipping the rubber seal over incase the edges are tired. It doesn't leak when turned off, so hard to see how I could have an air leak causing bubbles, unless it's only apparent when the rubber is warm?.... I was all set (and kind of looking forward) to replacing the head gasket, but what with the test results I'm now scratching my head. When running, the coolant visible under the cap is gushing about like a high pressure hose held just under the surface of a pool, if that makes sense. Has anyone got any pointers? Hello, I've got oil weeping out of the seal/bearing which mounts the main drive pulley which drives the belt powering the alternater and water pump (circled in red). Could you tell me what this part is called? I've got a phobia of sounding like a complete dunce when ordering parts over the phone. It's the original Kubota engine. Many thanks, Michael

Something no one's mentioned yet; dry saw dust soaked in diesel. Can be mixed up in the yard, needs to soak for a while. I find a small handful when squeezed into a ball will burn for up to 20 minutes, the perfect fire starter on wet days.

Here's what the tree looked like in early August. The previous pics were indeed taken in mid spring. It's not in great shape but at least it's leafed up.

Hello. Had a look at this Walnut today. The color of the leaves has thrown me a bit and rather than drive around until I find another walnut I thought id ask on here! The bark looks like common walnut I think. Prob not a black or japanese, Dont know about Butternut? The catkins look ok. So my question is does the crown look overly sparse for this time of year, and is the red hue normal? There is a fair bit of deadwood and more than half the root area is under compacted ground. Hi all, As in the title, does anyone know where I could loose 5 to 7 3.5 ton truck fulls of conifer chippings? Job site is about 10 mins East of Stevenage.
