  7. Hi all ive just got a hitch climber pulley about half an hour ago. It seems very smooth. The problem is that because my rope doesn't have a spliced eye the knot I'm using(bowline) is rubbing against the the VT knot on the hitch climber. Is there anything I can do about this?

  15. Ive only used western red cedar and have done it both ways but i found you got a better shingle radially, but i suppose it depends on the wood quality.
  16. Why do you vary the width of them? I just use them like i would if i was putting slates on with a similar lap.
  17. It can vary. I've been doing 12'x 6' but fir a house I would make them bigger maybe 16'x8.
