  1. Good Morning Lovely end to the week. Have a good one.
  2. Apology accepted. I can only say pulling the 881 past compression without decomp is a lot easier than trying to get that started. Once warm it wasn't as testing.
  3. Not forgetting I think they were fitted to one of the Bond 3 wheelers I believe.
  4. Sorry. Definitely a 350 as I had the original sales receipt and manual from 1953
  5. It was a 350cc Villiers engine. Made light work of any sawing as the torque was there. 6ft bar and the teeth were huge. Just a real b@stard to start.
  6. Good morning Have a marvelous day.
  7. tear to the eye time. regret selling my Danarm 2 man saw because I couldn't find a volunteer for the light end.
  8. Sorry Stubby. Trying not to be over-dramatic. I have got a sweatshirt on mind you. No ragging around in a t-shirt today I think.
  9. Good Morning Bit blowy here too...not the same. It's dark and wet. Sadly feels wintery. Keep yer powder dry till the weekend.
  10. Good Morning Back on the roundabout. Nice one.
  11. Need Steve B to give a "smirk" emoji for the jokes page.
  12. Good Morning Hi-Ho! Have a good one.
  13. Good Morning All clear. Nothing to see here! Have fun
  14. Good Morning Woken up by 8 wheeler delivering hardcore to farm at 7. Milling and food and beer. Perfect day maybe. Have fun.
  15. Good Morning Nice quandary to be in Pete. Which beach. I will be suffering the 20mph zone from Chessington to Richmond. P.s. all the chat about the 880's. Ran my 881 yesterday evening with 46" .404 to start milling an Oak butt for a mate. With moto-mix and de-comp. No issues. Ran a 42" lopro on the 661 and it threw nose sprockets like discus. Might try a longer bar but would defo have to go skip or hyper-skip as I don't think it'd pull it. Stay dry good gentlemen.
  16. Sometimes "good" just doesn't cut it! :-)
  17. Good Morning An adventure to Richmond upon Thames beckons Hope we don't get too much rain. Have a splendid day.

Love my 261C -2015- Mine has a 16" bar and I've never felt the need for more. Heavy on fuel? I wouldn't say so. 2 tanks to every one of oil. Certainly not as juicy as the 881 on a mill. Drinks like Olly Reed P.s. mines ported (2021) and that has made no real change to thee fuel or bar choice.
  19. Good Morning Have a safe one.
  20. Good morning Short week, hooray. Have fun
  21. Good Morning Wander around Oxted and Edenbridge show with luck. Have a good 'un
  22. Good Morning Good kip. Milling later when it's acceptable to start a saw. Have a brilliant second saturday.
  23. p.s.I had a group scout leader Menhenitt in the 70's Kingston? John?
  24. Not had any sizeable Sw Chestnut but it is so Oak like I'd love to have a crack. I've got 2 x 70cm by 2.9 m Oak butts tomorrow and the smell of the sawdust will be like heaven.
  25. Have fun. I am looking forward to a days milling tomorrow. First for many months. Prep is everything, but that first cut. Exposing the inner beauty still gives me the God feeling as I'm the first to see it apart from him. Sorry for the derail.
