  15. Having a look through the new knot directory (spot on resource chaps pat on the back) I came across the helical. This reminded me about a pal who uses it but was asked to find a prussic cord other than silverstreak to tie his helical because it wasn't rated high enough for use as a split tail. Or tie a closed friction hitch. I am bringing this up because i wonder how many of us are not totally clear on what the recommendations are for the cord we use in different applications.   16. Hi Nigel... so to clarify it is not advised to use a cord like silver streak in this way?? I only labour the point because here we have a demo that may not meet industry best practice, and i am still not 100 percent clear :)
  17. hello guys, i am just finishing up a report on P and D in an arboretum and wrote a bit about dead wood habitat in managed gardens...
