We have a new Vermeer 9 x14 turntable chipper for demo and this week the new Bc190 arrives 8 x 12. Both towable machines. I'm based in Manchester so not to far away. -

Tighten torque bolts to 210ft/lb 285nm beginning with center bolt. Torque in the same sequence again after last bolt is tightened.

Changed mine myself, same thing with me struggled like hell to get them loose but once I'd used heat they soon came off. Make sure some loctite is used when putting them back on as well.
