  2. have any of you fine ladies and gents had a pair of the englebert strausse trousers that would like to do a mini review for me? mainly im wondering how durable they are?? will they stand up to any kind of punishment? thanks in advance ps sorry for yet another trouser related question/thread
  3. Thanks for all the replies lads I do like the look of the engleberts
  4. Cheers for the replies lads Treeswinger how long do you think they will last compared to the stretch airs? And what sort of sizes are they? I'm a 36 waist think ill be getting large.
  5. Good evening ladies a gents I'm a contract climber and in need of some new trousers. My previous pair (stretch airs) have given up the go this weekend after - year and a half hard work I've got an old pair of type A sip progress to put me on but need a new pair fairly soon. My trouble is I'm a little strapped for cash at the minute and struggling to stretch to new stretch airs. My question is have any of you had the sip freedoms? How durable are they? And how do you rate them compared to other trousers? Or if any of you have other cheap suggestions? that would be great! Thanks in advance Martin

    Boots

Looks like I will be getting protector pros then! Out of interest to the lads who don't wear chainsaw boots, do you only climb? Do you come down once trees done and watch your groundy clean up your mess? I know once im done in tree I get down and crack on with cleaning up and use a saw on the ground thus needing saw boots!! Wouldn't fancy hitting my foot with a 460!!

  10. Im a freelancer and do often get the odd fiver or tenner here and there even been given eggs or sacks of potatoes if working for farmers etc but the best ive ever had and probably ever will have, was when freelancing for a company there was 3 of us on a job (me, the gaffer and his other employee) we spent the day taking down an easyish poplar, at the end of the day the lady came out thanked us all settled the bill and then produced 3 envolopes we didnt open them infront of her but as soon as we pulled off the drive we cracked them open and we all had £40quid EACH!!! couldnt belive it. she then rung the next day and said she had decided to have the next popar down so we went back a couple a weeks later n did it. All joking between ourselves that it would be great to get another envolope but wasnt expecting one, and then at the end of the day lo and behold she produced another 3 envolopes with the same again GOBSMAKED!!!! we did feel a little guilty like but hey never mind  (and they went shy with the tea and buscuits while we were working either:001_tongue:) and before anybody asks they wasnt a frail old couple or some celeb or even a multi millionair they were just an average well off couple.
