  10. Its hard to maintain fresh well optimised websites when google keep moving the goal posts. Its also easy to get sucked into a high input/low yeild social network vortex Wise social media gurus move with the times, but this requires time, time we all spend working and making money. My advice is start small, join twitter/ facebook and treat it a little like this forum, post info that users will find intertesting and link back to pages related to that content within your website to increase traffic. Its also important to have a good grasp on your metrics. How will you know if any of this social media busness works unless you measure the results. Good luck
  11. There was an instance of this in Sussex linked to Rother District council parkland and street trees. After a valiant in vestigation (they asked the bin men) no evidence was found and the world is safe again.... Untill a dog eats a kid.
  12. My dads into bonsai in a serious way. Its got to be Azelea. Have u seen it flower?
  13. Looks like some kind of azalea to me
  14. Ooh just to add, its worth more kiln dried if you know any potters. Natural drying produces the obvious cracks.
  15. I sold two 7ft lengths for £200 after a job. Be warned though the tree of unbourn souls and all that. We boun to burn for this etc etc
  16. Here is a little Shape file that i made from OS Open Data. it will open in Google earth, (requires google Earth to be installed). It will allow you to quickly find the relevant borough when conducting TPOs. speeding up the process. for those of you interested i used Manifold to export the SHP file to KML using the required attributes as info for the KML file Title, Name Description ETC All you need to do is single click on an area and it will tell you the name of the council. the rest is up to you. It's mostly for the south of england with a few areas cut out. i am working on a file for the entire UK but at the moment its size is such that GoogleEarth freaks out a bit when it is opened. the file size is 10meg so please down load from my dropbox Download File
  17. Hmmm interesting what would a device that reads this thing look like? Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
  18. I thought it could be some kind of survyours mark. I have seen then lying about on other sites. Still not convinced Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
  19. Whilst visiting a site in Sussex found this strange item fixed to a tree. Its probably something to do with topographical surveying spot heights etc. But I'm only guessing. Can anyone confirm? Sent from my Legend using Tapatalk
  20. No problem i have solved this, i used the formular containiend within this xls and added the conditional formatting into our current matrix. take a lok for your selves, you will need to unlock the file once open in order to copy the formulae. enjoy. car-maintenance-schedule.xls
  21. Im looking at trying to make our current Vehicle service matrix slightly more autoated. ive searched high and low on the web to try to find an xls template or example. idealiy i simply need a next service due colum that will calculate its content based on the input of the colum detailing the most recent service, this colum will also automatically turn orange/red as the service due date approaches. I know all this sort of thing is possible using forumae and conditional formatting. but im having problems. so i have turned to you guys. Maybe we can share some knowledge on how we manage our vehicles in a fast efficient way so we can all get on with some money making.
