Got a short rope yesterday and decided to set up my hc on this I haven't used it in a while as I have been on sj, I have new England 13mm rope with hc and op with spliced eyes iv set it up with a v.t shown In the tree climbers companion. It's self tending so nice but isn't grabbing very well, I have 4 wraps and 2 braids do you guys think a new rope can cause it not to grab?

My point is you can get more than 100 pounds on that job. and especially if you are just starting out like the poster stated you need to get more profit tobe able to set up. Earning 100 isn't going to gain him nout. I understand people like you have lots you can throw in a day but others don't so 300 I think is a reasonable price.

I agree that job wouldn't take long, but thats are problem we all go so cheap we all have to fight to get so many jobs done a day to earn are bacon. I have taken down many of trees like that with 300 on it. I no location is dependant but I just feel we all do ourselves no favours because if work is slow it's not worth getting out of bed for that price.

We all moan there isnt enough Money tobe earned in this game with prices like that I wonder why! No offence but that is what you call shooting yaself in the foot. That job has 300 all over it.

Haha most properly but at least I'd have the satisfaction knowing it cost me nout:-). Also a few of you guys have said you can't use rope to pulley but in the rope guide thread people have spliced there eyes into the pulley holes.

Yea It does with a good tug.

A small Mallion added to the pulley would pull threw the large Mallion enabling me to use it as a rope guide.

I was told not to use krabs as when pushed against the trunk they would be cross loaded, but I'd like to no what other peoples opinion on this would be as I can't see it being a problem.

I want to get into srt I currently climb on a sj but today I did have a go on hitch with rw I found it ok .but i enjoy my sj tricks to much, the unicender to me seems similar to the sj. I would love to see a video of it being used in a working environment.
