    Telford???

Is anyone available in this area to price some work? The job is a number of "soft fells" due to suspected bat activity. Mature Willows so I'm informed? Standard soft felling format....section, leave on site for 24hrs and then remove once the ecologist is happy. ...and the price is required by Friday!!! Obviously should the price be accepted the job is all yours, I don't mind travelling for work (but not 3.5hr round trip). If anyone is interested please get in touch tomorrow before 11am 07940474127 Cheers in advance Nige
  10. Just kidding....don't even leave yours with one :-)
  11. P.s if you turn up with a husky at my yard, you turn around an drive back home :-)
  12. Less of the saw jargon.....let's see this bear :-)
  13. Looking for a climber for an Oak section on Thursday. Only about a 3rd left of it due to apparent "storm & gypo damage"?? Nothing difficult and an easy dismantle! Pm me if interested. Will need to provide tickets unless you've worked for me before and include your day rate in pm please. Cheers in advance guys!! Nige
  14. Tsumura have been making a .43 gauge dime tip for a few months now!!
  15. My advice would be save your money and practice practice practice with the saws! There's few applications for those that you couldn't manage with a saw. Alot of new carvers seem to be rushing to get the power tools all too soon. The main application for these tools are very fine detail and intricate sanding. I can count on one hand the amount of times I have used mine (had it for approx 3 yrs). Obviously just my opinion an I haven't used the other you mentioned so cannot draw comparison, but if you are buying tools, always buy the best you can afford...or you'll buy twice :-)
  16. If it works then cool :-) I dont bother with it personally. But I love the colour, grain & smell of it! After 5 years of carving I'm beginning to prefer carving softwoods, cedars, firs, sequoia etc. Still do alot in Oak and yew but enjoy the quick cutting and weight difference :-)
  17. I could possibly help you out short term simon? My yard is in culcheth, Warrington. Realise It's not the distance you asked but if you get stuck give me a ring! 07940474127
  18. I'll get it later tonight...it's a german site and it did take me a while to track it down :-)
  19. Grube make a cheaper version that is just as good. Around £280:00 Inc belt sprocket etc. You remove the saws sprocket, add the new one (plus bearing ring), sand a small area off the side casing of the saw (explained in instructions and takes 30seconds, add the bar and belt and tension/secure as per chain. Pockets/cutters etc are all easily replaceable and you get spares Inc!!
