  14. Forest Mensuration, I spent years studying it, have three books on my shelf full of numbers for working it out, its quite a dull process. Do it by volume as weights a bit dodgy, only do by weight if your selling fresh stuff do it by volume if your buying. Volume is Length x height x width, minus 30% for air depending on how well stacked

  19. Course you would, Just had a phone call from someone who was offering me to service all the trees across as many counties as I could manage. Having narrowly averted being scammed many times I asked a few questions Whats in it for you? - ahem well we take a fee of £150 + vat Ok so do you vet contractors and we sub to you or you commission work? - no Well to cut a long story short after some probing it was just a advertising book that goes round to schools, called School Supply service, my sister whos a head teacher had never herd of it. and takes a up front fee I offered to pay once i had seen the book, that was not acceptable. Of course this could be totally legit but but I seem to remember this time last year there was a glut of fake publications. Having been duped by these before my advice, ask lots of questions, and any stuttering or unsuruity about company numbers, vat numbers should ring alarm bells. and ask where is it going to be published? as theres lots of fakes out there. Schools supply Service - SMT Magazine 01686 620 263 Peace James xx
  20. Used the big green mechs whilst working on M25 Heavy and Big, eats wood but ours had a few issues, probabley because it was worked hard and used by alot of half sharp labourers, also I think Greenmech chip is always stringy and blocks the shoot to often. The way you have to re raise the engine revs after tracking is a massive pain
