  2. Looking to get one to wrap nets of logs, kindling, builders bags of logs and small bale haylage onto pallets. Any advice please on makes, models and where to buy from? Needs to be run off single phase Cheers James
  3. So firewood then! Reading up on turkey oak not the best for milling so it seems! High in sap and cracks when seasons!
  4. Wot would work best if saw milled sleepers "8"x "4" 6-8 foot long...

  9. A friend of mine is a fabricator did it for me. Got the idea from the Farma website
  10. All mounted now 1st load today! Great being high up on seat to load/unload.
  11. Yes all fixed ta went through power tools spares very good!

Went for the Farma 6.3 crane with fold down legs, spool block with 2 joysticks and 4 levers in middle and a flotation valve (if on 3 point linkage will follow the trailer) Dealt with Chippenham Farm Sales very competitive with price. Found this crane to be best all round in its market for price, lift, 3pt linkage etc
  13. Collected the crane currently being mounted will post a pic when finished! Looks strong and well built especially with the fold down legs.

  15. Jon wot grapple is on yours 0.16 or 0.20

  17. Yeah it's the 6.3 gone for fold down legs (more stable) joystick controls 4 levers in middle, flotation valve so it follows trailer if on 3 point linkage, 3 ton rotator with 0.16 grapple
  18. After lots of research, prices etc it's the farma 6.3 crane
  19. It's mainly going to be mounted on the trailer but in time if I get a chipper if could be taken off and used to feed a chipper was where i was thinking.
