    Hi I have just done my CS30, 31, 38 and 39 at Merrist Wood on a 9 week course and i needs some work [Finished last Friday]. Full UK driving license. I have a few companies who have said they want me in for trials etc but need to try to book in a work for next week if possible. very hard working, 27 years old, can climb but inexperienced and willing to learn fast. I will be on time work, hard all day, I dont text or take calls on the job, dont smoke and I wont be hung over. give me a call in 07598837391 if you need a hand.     Hi Big John I am about to finish 9 week course at Merrist Wood, already passed cs31 and cs38, I am taking my CS30 and 39 before the course finishes on the 28th of Jan. In the mean time I have been working for a local firm on the weekends and a bit over Christmas. Since I have been with them I have done 2 climbing jobs and the rest of the time was spent dragging wood and clearing up. I have been offered a Job at the firm i have been working with but only as a Subby climber, I am keen for full employment if possible and keeping my options open as i am only working with one company. PM if interested I live in Ascot and have a full clean UK driving license [sorry no trailer or hgv] There is also a guy on my course who lives in Reading who i can pass details on to if you don't mind.

    Got my first pair of meindl boots, they say only use meindl wax bla bla bla. Any truth in this or can any of the stuff work on the leather?

    I start at Merrist wood on Monday for a 10 week course sounds like i am missing all the action. I live in south London Surrey and its pretty windy here, is any one able to climb in this weather?

    I am about start at Merrist Wood next week i am 27 and worried about stuff like this. I am in good shape but worried my body might not be up to the task. How old are you guys who are having what sould like like frequent back and neck problems.

    Hi About to start at Merist Wood on the 15th of november for a 9 week course. Will come out with tickets at the end of Jan. full clean driving license, 26 years old, hard working mature family man. I am really looking for my first trainee job. I live in Richmond now but moving to ascot and have transport. I have an office job now but giving notice for college soon and happy to leave sooner if something comes up or even help out on the weekend if want to give me shot. pm if you are interested. John

    Starting at Merist Wood on a 10 week course on November 15 cant wait. Been working in same boring office job for 3 years wondering what to do with my life. I used to think that i starting late at 26 but after reading this sounds like a lot of people feel the same way i do. Really cant wait just hope i find a Job quickly after college. Any Tips are more then welcome [live in Ascot/Sunningdale]

    Stu, I used to live in camberley and know the area you are in really well. I am looking for my first tree job, i am 26 years old not a school leaver. I am also planning on putting my self through college to get all my tickets. Starting in Feb 2011 Really hard working looking to get into climbing.     Hi, I am looking for my first Arb job. I am taking a 10 week course that covers most the required tickets in Feb 2011 [at merist wood]. Its the earliest course I can get on so i am looking for some one to take me on as a trainee in the mean time. It would also be great to have a job lined up when i finish training also. I live in Richmond at the moment but very flexible as coming to the end the lease on my flat in 6 weeks. I am hardworking very fit as i cycle and weight train 5 days a week, i make a mean cup of tea and keen to learn as much as possible.
