  2. It's defo not alder , I first thought hazel spp . There's a lot of specimen trees there and some of the biggest oaks and acers I have ever seen . Will get some better pics tomorrow Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  3. The leaf base is not symmetrical , similar to elm and the leaf is smooth unlike alder. It's another one that threw me Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  14. Hi all , came across these two today and had me stumped as to what they were. One is more mature than the other and bark very platey like a mature sycamore. Leaves almost Fagus like. Any help appreciated
  15. I only have the 6ft version with adjustable single leg and are perfect for small hedges (wouldn't want to be without them now) , very stable ! Sorry cant comment on the biggun's as i haven't used them.

  18. I have a set of msa sordin ones on just a headband I wear for hedge cutting which I got online about 18 months ago , pretty good sound protection but radio not very loud . I also have the orange husky ones fitted on my petzl vent helmet , loud and good radio signal but not very good sound protection and easily get knocked off the mounts.

  21. Picked up a couple of these in aldi today , on offer at only £6.99. Great for kit bag use or rope bag. 44 litre capacity . Also great for kayaking use . Seem to be really well made. Their classed as a '44 litre dry duffle bag'.

  25. Had to sell my jo beau m300 over a year ago to fund my tow behind . Regret selling it very much and plan on buying another one as soon as the funds allow
