  5. 750 kilos is not much i know but ivebeen working with this special light wieght wood chip lol couldnt get the 7.5t as need a permit to park it outside the office ,and here as long as it doesnt look overloaded then its not ha ha ,but as stated better than what we had before a flat bed no tipper no sides used to be loaded to the hilt everyday withbrash and never got stopped once so lets see how much we can really geton it safely ofcourse the chalange begins to morrow

  11. hi all ok so im looking again for a new addition to r team the position that is going is groundie 3rd climber i think this would suit a young keen lad maybe with a bit of experience who wants to learn (r it could also be suitable for a guy who just wants to ground) the percentage of climbing groundie work is bout 70% groundie 30% climber i hope this makes sense ul need all those funny cs no. for climbing airial rescue and saws cheers damian looking forward to her from u guys if want to know more about us check out the other post on here so just a bit about us again we will pay for ur flight (return ) but not excess baggage you will be picked up from the airport taken to ur digs we have a flat with seperate bedrooms internet wood burner you dont pay any bills u start a seven usally home for 4.30 no weekends to work u get paid 14 times a year u get 25 days hols a year and cheap beer and fags what more do u want wages depending on the usual (sorry bout the **** spelling ha ha ) and lack of punctuation my no. 004 650 22 61 61 0 give me a bell r text and ill call u back cheers damian
  12. the idea behind it is that these trees have massive bits of dead in them and r not safe for the public but the tree owner wants to keep the natural charachter of the trees 8 in all so yeah to create habitat and also to help with hopefully positive effects for the trees ive researched it a bit found the articles on the web just wondering what others think
  13. im going to be carrying out fracture prunning for the first time on some 350 year old sweet chestnuts and have been given the opputinty to manage these trees for the next five years i was just wondering if anyone had any tips on the after care and management of these what shall i say cuts anyhelp would be great i think this may b the first attempt at this here

  18. because trying to get austrian tree climbers is like looking for a neadle in a haystack and second i prefer to work with english guys as they seem to have a better work ethic and tend to know what they r doing plus the industry at home is about 5 to 10 yaears in front of the austrian one hope that clears it up cheers damian

  20. @ david yes its braced was firts done in the seventies with steel cables then we reduced it then re braced with cobra but left the old sytem in not my specs just did the work @apbell thanks mate my stock standard bread winner we do a lot of em here
  21. here r a few more birts and bats was a 180 year old lime slight reduction overall did some sonar testing and went inside enjoy:thumbup:
