  11. mobile.de ? Gebrauchtwagen und neue Autos ? Deutschlands größter Fahrzeugmarkt. what do you think of the prices compared to blighty
  12. forgot to say one was open back not so good cant leave any thing in it whilst on site. the other had some platic cast body on the back with two swinging doors very usefull for above mentioned
  13. hey i ve had two of the white ones for the last three years 1.9 diesel good car small load capcity bout 660 kg, one went of the road bout A YEAR AGO DUE to the glow plugs not working when warm then the diesel pump went 3.000 euro no replica parts. the second one is still running starting to rust quite a bit no underbody protection i use mine as my run about ie site visits etc took mine to italy and back twice from vienna no probs but i wouildnt recomend it as ur main truck no space on th back and only two seats. can get ladder rack for it but looks like a ship when finished like i say all in all a good motor just not very arby, hope that helps what do they cost in england second hand mine cost no.1- 1,000 euro no mot but sailed through no.2- 3,000 euro with mot cheers damian
  14. crane and chipper shall be mounted on the back axel but thanks for the input
  15. sorry im a bit busy sometimes and dont always get the chance to reply to everyone sorted the new groundie out moved on to the next task of repairing truck that blow shock absorber sorry again and thanks to al who contacted me next time i will just post my no. for u to call me cheers damian
  16. found em mate looked like a good set up what was it in size thanks alot my dream is finaly getting ther what did the chipper wiegh
  17. @ robert i think it is without the body but good point like u said u put ur chipper on ur cabstar it was to high thats what i thought thats why i thought bout the crane to feed it even if the body is 1.t chipper 1.t crane 1.t that still leaves me 2.t load capacity still more than a tranny pulling a chipper and i got a crane too what ya think may be a ally body would be lighter im gona have todo some no. crunshing how did u mount ur chipper on ur cabstar do u have a pic if not please can u take one and show it me cheers damian
  18. at scraggs that for the input man i understand what u say with wieght but the mitsubushi fuso supposedly has a pay load of 5 ton so iwas thinking 1.5 t for crane 1.t for chipper that should technically leave 3.5t payload let me know what u thinks cheers damian
  19. damian

    big thanks

thanks guys for all ur input great help think i will go with engine drive chipper build it on the chasis some depends on where crane is going now to do the maths for the wieght and to see if the mit fuso really has a 5 ton payload will post pics so hopefull thanks again damian p.s. if anyone else has anymore ideas then feel free to chuck at me
  20. yeah i think so but im no expert on this whats ur opion i also thought bout doing what u said with trailer chipper r just buying the chipper without the trailer is zhat possible
  21. ok good point i dont know what is like in england but i cant just put things on trucks i have to have it all checked and checked etc tail lift idea is a good one will think it through i was looking at the fassi f50 r thepalfinger pk 4001 cranes r i even had a look at the hiezo hack chipper with its own crane put im not all that clued up on what these things can lift it would have to be able to lift good size timber as to the pto the crane would run off that and the chipper i hope would run off a seperate elactrical hydraulic pump if that makes any sense out here it hard to buy any second arb gear as the industry is small and relatively new if i was to buy in england then check check check again emissions etc
  22. i wasnt expecting to feed whole trees (sorry)
  23. at billy yeah thats my problem permits for trailers in the city and space on site when parking in the city small streets lots of car hard work also getting round corners in vienna is a problem with a long load i was expecting to feed whole trees into the chipper just thought it might be easier to feed a small chipper with a crane as the chipper would be mounted on the truck it would be hard to feed manually
  24. thanks for the input skyhuck i wasnt gonna put a massive chipper on something like 20 cm the truck would be used for mainly deadwoods reductions thins small to medium fells anything bigger and i get my buddyy to come in with forestry truck the reason im trying to do this is because ive been going two years now and have been running a knackerd ols talbot r citreon3.5t without a tipper. transit tippers just dont exist here in vienna i have no chipper and spend most my time chopping up that was the thinking behind the grand scheme
